Running Edge

Kevin looked at alex and Hanna as they left, he then lied awake in the dark. He was afraid the nightmare would come agian along with the memories of the days his parents died. He sighed he didn't trust the new guy also. He shut his eyes and the scene of his house burning down played behind his close eyelids, making him open them up again.

 

Mya smiled. I prefer that you weren't old. You break more bones then. And girls don't like old guys. She giggled and leaned on the railing.

 

Kurisu gave a little chuckle.
"Is that some sort of hint?" he asked jokingly, to her comment about girls not liking old guys.

 

Mya smirked. Find out yourself. Get one now and get another 40 years from now and see the results. She ran downstairs, grabbed another drink and ran back up to the rooftop.

 

"Any suggestions?" Kurisu asked with a continued smirk.
He for once couldn't be bothered to get himself a drink.

 

Mya laughed. Gosh you all men are the same. Thinking you have what it takes to be a lady's man and yet you dot have a clue what she wants or needs.

 

Kurisu laughed hard.
"Hey, I can't help it if I was raised as a runner my whole life. I've never really had time for girls."
He looked up leaned against the railing with his arms, "What can I say? Maybe I am just hopeless."

 

alex kept checking her phone every thirty seconds waiting for mya to respond. she couldn't go to sleep until she knew what kind of state lynne was in and how kurisu was doing. hanna told her not to worry, but that was her job. if she didn't worry about them, then she would never be prepared with the right supplies to aid them. alex flipped open her phone to send a message to kurisu.
HOW IS EVERYTHING GOING? MYA HASN'T RESPONDED. -A

 

Mya smiled and gave him a small kiss on the cheek. Think about that lover boy. Good night. I'll see you tomorrow morning. She walked back down into the hospital.

 

OOC: Since phones aren't really meant to be used... I dunno how and if I should respond to the text thing.
I'll wait and see what Heartless Angel says first, and edit this post or respond later.


BIC: Kurisu felt himself blush as Mya kissed him on the cheek, but a little smile appeared on his face too.
"Night." he responded a bit in awe as she left, his hand close to his cheek.
Once she was gone... he turned back to the railing and leaned on it staring out at the view a bit more.
This lasted for like... 5 minutes. "...I guess she could tell how hopeless I really am at that sorta thing." he said to himself a little amused.
He turned his back towards the railing and sat on the floor, resting his back against it. She had told him to 'Think about that..'
and well... he was, as the moment replayed in his mind making him smile a little again.

 

Ryku lingered at the sight where Lynne was shot and that runner's house burned down. How sad is it that I don't know many EBO officers because of my own status.... All he smelt was blood and fire. Shaking his head, Ryku snapped his fingers and a cleanup crew jumped into action, scrubbing away the blood on the ground and clearing away parts of the house that had exploded and flung scraps of glass and wood onto the ground. "Hurry it up...I don't want to be lingering here if more Runners come around to scavenge the remains. Or worse...civillians."

Lynne fumed in her bed, more surgery's....more pain-killers...more bed rest. You have to be kidding me... Feeling restless, Lynne watched her heart monitor...they said her heart was beating slower than normal... Lynne could see it and her spirits fell. "Why is this happening to me...?" she mumbled to herself.

 

I hope its not to late to join. I don't know anything about mirror image but I figured I'd try this out any way.

Appearance (Don't put Faith up): Dark grey spiky hair, pale skin, and blood red eyes (like in twilight, except cooler). He wears all black, (you know... black jeans, black tank top, black jacket, black worn out sneakers, etc, etc). He's skinny but tall and good looking. I'm sorry I don't have a pic for him.
Faction: It kinda depends on who he talks to. His talents are so special that people will probably be fighting to nab him.
Weapons (EBO only): His main weapon is complicated, I'm not sure if you consider it god modding that he can read minds. He also has two guns.
Bio: Tracy's parents abandoned him when he was seven. He traveled the world for a while after that and always tried to do everything on his own. He learned how to read minds when he was fourteen and always used it to his advantage. He worked to improve his fighting skills and mind reading skills until he was physically and mentally strong.
Other: Tracy can get pretty shy if he likes a girl or is intimidated. In many ways Tracy acts like a little kid. He doesn't know how to react to girls at all and he tends to pick fights. He's really cocky.

It's Mirror's Edge, not Mirror Image. And also you need to be sure about your faction. I won't accept neutral :/

 

Hmmm, I guess he can be a EBO. He's not loyal to them though. The only reason they keep him around is because of his talents, and the only reason he sticks around is because he has no place to go.
I think that works out nicely.

kaleb slept hard on the couch. it was amazing how out he was since his mind just kept replaying the days events over and over again. since he was dreaming he felt as if he was actually reliving it all, not just watching. the sounds of the gun shots kept ringing over and over again. he tried desperately to rub the blood off of his arms, but it would just get darker. and then he saw it. it wasn't the past, but the future. it was him versus ryku. they were standing with their guns pointed towards each other. demitri was lying unconscious next to ryku's feet. kaleb tried to explain that it was just an accident, that demitri almost blew his cover; but it didn't matter. then there was a loud BANG, but it hadn't come from ryku's gun. someone behind him had pulled the trigger.
kaleb jolted awake. he started panting, he had been sweating from the dream. it felt so real. kaleb knew this was a dangerous assignment when he agreed to take it, but after what happened today he feared the moment he would actually have to face ryku and demitri. would he do the right thing? would he stand beside his fellow ebo and turn on the runners he was forced to work with. or would his view change? when that day comes, will he have succumb to the beliefs of the runners and feel the need to face his two closest friends as his enemies?
kaleb tried to shake off the thoughts and go back to sleep. it was hard. every time he closed his eyes the images just kept coming back, but somehow he managed to doze off.

alex had waited for a response, but after awhile she just gave up and set the phone down on her night stand. sending messages was dangerous anyway. why risk everyone's safety. she'll just have to keep kevin and hanna prisoner somehow and go to the hospital to check on lynne and kurisu. alex pulled the covers down on the bed and crawled in.
"hanna when you're done changing do you mind turning off the lights?"

 

OOC: Sorry, I had a day where I didn't post in RP's properly for a day or two as I was recovering from the after effects of a party, and this slipped away from me.


BIC:
Kurisu felt his phone vibrate.
He wondered why he even had the thing, there wasn't much point since every message was checked, and he never used it...
that and if the phone wasn't encrypted, anyone could be easily tracked to their location.
He took it out and looked at the text he had received, it took him a moment to read as he disliked text talk with all the shortcuts... he just preferred typing normally.
He typed out his response.

'Sorry, Me and Mya were a bit busy with everything that's been going on.
Everyone is fine. Lynne is... well...
I think she'll pull through, as long as she actually does stay in bed. :/
Try to limit the texting, for obvious reasons... B|
I understand why you have this time though, so don't worry about it.
Hope Kevin and Hanna are alright etc. XD

and with that, he finally left the rooftop and went downstairs too.

 

OOC: Opps, sorry I didn't post, not much seemed to be happening and I'd just assumed Hanna had gone to bed already, I was considering posting to say go to bed already. Anyway, I'm all for a time skip.

 

alex saw her phone light up in the dark. she flipped it open to check what it said. she nodded, closed it and set it back down. alex pulled the blankets up to her neck and then closed her eyes. she fell asleep within minutes. it had been a rather exhausting day afterall.
