Alright, now onto the details:

Ultimate Marvel vs Capcom 3 is an updated edition of the popular Capcom fighter Marvel vs Capcom 3. In this rendition, 12 new fighters are added to the mix, 8 new stages, a Spectator mode for Online lobbies, and more modes to be announced. The game will be released on November 15th, 2011 in the US, November 17th, 2011 in Japan and November 18th, 2011 in Europe.

Frank West finally in MVC3? YES YES YES! Well I think we all knew it was coming, they DID show shadows and little hints of him in the early trailers, I also hope for DLC that they add Chuck Greene! God that would be so awesome! And please add Venom and Carnage to the pack Capcom! PLEASE!

 

While I agree with you in every extent of the word, I would get your hopes up too high. This could all be just a bunch of crap posted by some troll, so your best bet is to wait until Comic-Con, at which MvC3 has been confirmed to be at, announcement-wise.

 

This better be false. I paid full money for MvsC3 and I don't want to use up any more for the same game with extra content. If this is real, this should have been the true game all alone.

 

True, it should have been there from the start, but it's better than never getting it at all, right? That's how I see it, anyway.

 

Ugh, this just makes it harder for me to decide if I want to get MvC3 EX or SSFIV Arcade Edition. Anyway, this sounds really cool. I heard MvC3 was a little lackluster with all of the content ( or lack thereof ).

 

Well, SSFIV AE is already out. MvC3 EX has a rough release date of Q4 2011, so I'd say there's a big enough time gap for you to get both. It's up to you in the end, though.

And yes, While MvC3's gameplay is pretty fun, the lack of modes is pretty disappointing.

Knowing Capcom, it's not unlikely they would re-release MvC3. (Haven't they also re-released like every Street Fighter, too?) I just don't know if I'm feeling very optimistic about the accuracy of that list. Probably best to take it with a grain of salt.

Still pretty excited though. MvC3 is a really fun game, so I'd definitely be interested in more.

 

They ALSO need to let you watch the matches as they're going on in the online lobbies!

Other than that, this could work quite nicely. Also, OMG FRANK WEEEEEEEEEEST! We all saw it coming eventually though. X)

 

Great to see I'm not the only one excited about this! :)

And I do agree, a spectator mode would really liven up the health bars and gamercards suggestively bumping into eachother.

iPlayWinner has uploaded a full stream of Ultimate Norcal vs Capcom, an invite-only tournament showcasing a demo build. The build does not include all the new characters, but a handful of interesting ones like Nemesis and Vergil make an appearance. They had a weekend to play the game and Dacidbro already freaking knows Vergil like he was in the last game, the geek.

Excited as hell for this. Capcom is trying some cool stuff to address the balancing of the first game, and taking out a lot of the garbage that clogged it up before. Specially looking forward to Nemesis and the new Felicia. I'm hoping Viewtiful Joe's slow-snapback combos still work, as I'm intending to try out a team with Joe and some of the new guys.
