I went to Gamestop today and I talked to the employees and they all commented on this for Kingdom Hearts I and Kingdom Hearts II.

What did they say exactly?

Wow, lol. 2 years ago I was actually making an AMV/Fan dub called Kingdom Hearts Remembrance that actually focused on recapping everything, didn't go as planned though. It'll be funny to me personally if this rumor turns out to be true.

Anyway as for this rumor itself I'm really hyped for it, I don't even care whether it's a remake or a remaster the fact that I can play a majority of the series on PS3 is exciting enough for me, add in trophy support and I'm in bliss. Though the fact that it has all these games in one package and it is going multiplatform (and WiiU exclusive side quests?) does make me question if this is true or not. Also it's kinda weird not to see Coded in that. I can understand 3D being excluded since it is still unreleased outside of Japan plus it has very specific 3DS features, but they have pretty much the whole series on there, why exclude Coded?

i doubt it is true. but if it is i wonder if in kh2 hd yeah they would upgrade the detail and that in the character models but will the add some of the changes that were in kh2 final mix from the top of my head im thinking leon how the red Griever emblem is on the other shoulder. and another thing i am wonder is will kh com and days hd cutscenes be real time or pre rendered. anyway it will be good to see those games in hd (mostly days) especially the fmvs. and they better add theater mode to kh1. hope this is true (as i said doubt it but one can only hope).

By "remix", I assume this is only a remaster of the games? Well, that lowers my expectations. Just look at the Silent Hill remasters. They ended up being downgrades (though, that's thanks to the fact that the current Team Silent is a bunch of derps.)

If anything, I'd wish for just a remake of Days. The one thing I've wanted in a Kindgom Hearts game since the first Final Mix is a game where you can play as a character in that amazing looking trenchcoat and all of its flowing goodness. To be able to jump and run around and have it flow as if it were actual cloth (like in Chaos Legion, the game with the greatest pseudo-physics engine on the PS2). And what do we get? We get a game on the DS where the cloaks dont move at all.

And I know we have mods to play as Roxas or Marluxia (which I've used), and all the other bosses if you're using an emulator, and they're pretty good. But you're still limitted to a very small amount of animations.

It is likely this'll be at the Sony Conference right? So we'll all be watching that I guess lol.

Also, if it's Final Mix ... isn't there a danger of it being Japan only ... though if they're gonna announce it at E3 then ...

Well the majority of the consoles it's releasing on seems to be in Sony's favor. BUT the WiiU's making its big re-reveal in E3 and it needs games to get people on board. So it's anybody's game pretty much. I wouldn't put much emphasis on the fact that most of the main games showed up on Sony consoles as well. Metal Gear was one and it was shown on a Microsoft press conference during one E3.

I've always wondered what a Kingdom Hearts game would be like on the Vita. If this comes to light then Im sold for a Vita sense I got no other reason to get a Vita. Out of all the DS games from Square, other then TWEWY, Days was a great experience. I can't wait to play it on the Vita or what ever system it comes out in.
It would make sense to release the FM ver. of 1, 2, and BBS. If not then I wont pick those up.
