    well, considering some rules are silly and just made up for the sole purpose of reverse psychology to make up break them, then yes, some rules are meant to be broken. on the other hand, some are made just for the idea of keeping people in order and safe, to associate right from wrong and all that good stuff. :D

    That is just a way people can justify themselves when they break them.

    Rules are there for a reason, we might not always agree with them, and we might think they are stupid or whatever, but when they were put in place, they were made to keep order and usually for the safety/comfort of the majority.

    Rules can become outdated, and sometimes they need reviewing and updating etc, but they were never made with the intention to be broken.

    Haha! To me, it depends on what the rule is and who made it. Such as classroom rules; the teachers are just asking for chaos.

    You did it wrong. More accurate would be; In soviet russia, rules break you.
