Roxas's Decision

Sorry, but this isn't going to happen. I have plans for what comes next already. And this is a whole circle story. It started out with Kairi chosing between Sora and Riku (and some how Roxas got in there) and then it went to Roxas chosing between Kairi and Sasha. Now I cant say what's coming next, but it isn't Sora's Choice or Make up your mind Sora

The Castle that Never Was: Roxas’s Room

But there was still one thing, one more problem. He knew he had to do the right thing. He knew that he had to tell Sasha. If he didn’t he would feel horrible. Every time he was around her, it would be a lie. He couldn’t lie to her. Every time she said we are best friends that can tell each other everything, it would be a lie. He couldn’t lie to her. He had to be truthful. No more lying. He had to tell her. He had to tell her about

He just knew that he had to tell her about what had happened. He was going to tell her. Before he could talk himself out of it, he opened a portal to darkness. He wasn’t going to Twilight Town, no that’s just where he was when they found him. He was going to his real home town.

Roxas’s Real Home Town: Out side of Sasha’s House

Wow, he thought. Things look exactly the same, nothing has changed since I left. While he was waiting for her to come down, he went in search of a tree. The tree that they had always sat under.

He went around to the back of her house. It was an old house made of brick. In back of her house was a ton of trees. There weren’t nearly as many trees as he remembered, but there were still some. After looking through a few trees, he found the one that he had been looking for. It was tall and looked like it reached up forever. There weren’t many branches or leaves on it. He looked down, there at around shoulder level, were the words that he had carved in.

Roxas and Sasha Forever

Those were words that he had written. Sasha hadn’t been there but he knew that she saw it later that day. There were a few more words underneath of those that Sasha must have written.

Live on Roxasha

It was the silly pairing that they had created for them selves. He heard a door close and immediately ran out to the front of the house. It was much colder here than it was were he usually was. Sasha wasn’t wearing her normal clothing. Today, she had on jeans, a turquoise long-sleeved tee shirt, a brown sweater vest, and a pink belt. She looked pretty as normal, but there was one thing different about her. There was just something missing. Then it hit him. A sharp pain appeared. Her neck was bare, his necklace wasn’t on her.

“Hey Roxas, what’s up?†She said in a normal, innocent tone. She was acting normal. She was acting as if nothing had happened. She was acting like a normal person, very impersonal. She acted as if she didn’t know him. She acted unlike Sasha.

“I’m good, I guess. I just wanted to come talk to you, come say hi.†Roxas said.

“Oh, what about?†Then she saw him staring at her neck. “I’m not wearing the necklace, because you are here, and I have no reason to miss you, no reason to wear it.â€

Roxas nodded. That made sense, I guess. “I just wanted to tell you, that Kairi and I broke up. We both decided that it would be better this way. That means that we can be together. Just like old times.†He smiled sweetly at her.

“Roxas, that’s great!†She said and hugged him.

“Yeah it is.†Roxas said. There was a hint of sadness in his voice. He knew it was time to tell her.

“Roxas, what’s wrong? You know I can read you like a book. You’re nervous, you’re scared.†She had worry in her eyes. She could always tell what he was feeling.

“It’s just.â€

“It’s just what?â€

“It’s just, there’s something I need to tell you. I haven’t been completely honest with you.â€

“I know.†She sighed. Roxas looked at her. He didn’t know what to expect. Sadness maybe? Sasha looked up at him. Her eyes had some sadness in them. She started to tear up and then her eyes started to turn. They turned into that ghostly white. There was anger in her eyes. Her face drained of all color and she laughed. “You finally decided to tell me. I know Roxas. I’ve always known. There are things that you don’t know about me Roxas. If you had told be a long time ago, this wouldn’t be necessary. But you waited, and you lied.†She said with a smirk on her face. “But now Roxas, now it is too late.â€

Roxas looked at her. She looked different. Yes the eyes, but there was something else. Before he could figure it out, she gripped his wrist. There was a bright flash, and then darkness. Just darkness.

Chapter Six


Location: Unknown

Roxas was still in darkness. He didn’t see anything around him. The darkness went on for what looked like forever. It was silent. He could tell no one else was there. He was chilled. It was cold. He wasn’t standing, or sitting, or laying down, he was just there.

He was still breathing. But it didn’t seem the same. It was like a habit, no longer a necessity. He was getting colder and colder. Things were getting darker and darker. Am I dying?

He heard a voice. It wasn’t in out loud. It was in his head. Roxas, don’t worry. Everything will be alright. He recognized the voice. It wasn’t Kairi, it wasn’t Sasha, but it was a girl. It wasn’t Marluxia, it wasn’t Larxene. It was another voice. Someone from his not so distant past. It was. Yes it’s me, Xedramon.

Xed, are you out there? What’s going on? Where are you? Where am I?

I can explain. You are not dead. I am not there with you. In fact, you won’t see me at all. I’m just here in your mind, your memories. Like a tour guide. This is all about you. Don’t be afraid. Everything will be alright. Concentrate hard. Find my voice.

Roxas had no idea what to do. Where is your voice? How do I get there?

Roxas, I can’t tell you. Just focus your attention to me. Think about me. You’ll find it. But you must hurry, the state that you are in now is dangerous. You can’t stay here for much longer!

He thought about her. Suddenly, he felt someone’s hand with him. And there was a bright flash. Xed, where am I?

Location: Still not sure where, but some where else

Roxas turned to the side to Xed. She wasn’t there. Xed, what’s going on?

Goodbye Roxas and good luck. Just find your way back and you will be fine.

He opened his eyes. He was in a white room, with rows of tables. There were two people walking around. They both had coats on. Nether of them were organization coats. They were currently looking over two tables. Roxas crept closer to them. On the tables, were two babies. Both of them had blue eyes but one had blonde hair while the other had brown hair. This is from my memories?

Suddenly, three more figures appeared. One of them had on an organization cloak, the other two had on the same cloak as the first people.

“Two babies are before me. One is to live a normal life, the other will not exist for fourteen years. When the other is to exist, he still wont, not really. So what will we do with the other until it is his time, his time to exist?” The first cloaked figured asked.

“I believe that once he does exist, he should be with the organization.” The one in an organization coat said. The voice, it was familiar. It was Xemnas.

“Yes, yes, but all in time. But where to go before that?”

The small figured stood up. “I do believe that I can be of assistance there. He can be my friend. He wont really live, but he will think of it as his past. I would how ever like to be his age, grow up with him.”

“Certainly Sasha, you could be his friend. But if it doesn’t really happen, and he doesn’t really exist, then what about you?” The girl, the small girl, she was Sasha.

“I will be in his memories, I can become real too though.”

“Fine, then it has been settled.” The first guy snapped his fingers and then there was darkness, just darkness.

Location: Still not sure where

Roxas.

Xed?

Yes, it is still not over. She has more planned. More of your memories. I think you’ll like these better.

Xed, what is Sasha?

Sasha is a nobody, she keeps here name for safety issues. She is like your guardian. But you upset her.

What will happen next?

I am from your memories, I know no more than you do. Good bye Roxas. He felt her hand again and there was another flash.

Location: Another place still

“He now exists.” The first guy said.

“To the organization he goes.” Xemnas said.

“No! He’s my best friend, you cant take him away.”

“Sasha, none of this really happened. Neither of you really existed. Now you will live inside of his head, monitoring thoughts and such. If he exists, you don’t.”

“Will I ever get to see him again?”

“Yes, you will have your chance.”

He was sitting in his chair. Sasha was standing below, much below.

“Sasha, you told him! You know what must happen now.” Xemnas yelled.

Sasha looked up. Her face was sadder then ever before. She nodded. “Roxas, I am so sorry.”

Flash Back

He was sitting in his chair. Sasha was standing below, much below.

“Sasha, you told him! You know what must happen now.” Xemnas yelled.

Sasha looked up. Her face was sadder then ever before. She nodded. “Roxas, I am so sorry.”

End of Flash Back

“What are you sorry about?”

“Showing you that, and now what is going to happen.”

“But what is going to happen?”

Sasha looked up, there were tears in her eyes. She looked so sad, so pathetic. “Roxas, I must return to my original form. Then things won’t be the same, at all. I can still be your friend, but I won’t be me.”

“Original form?”

Suddenly, there was a bright flash. Sasha was gone. There was another girl in her place. But this girl wasn’t Sasha. She looked nothing like her, at all what so ever. She was much taller then Sasha had been. She was also bigger than Sasha. She had large, dark, brown eyes underneath of glasses. Her dark (almost black) brown hair was braided into a series of twists besides a few pieces in the front that fell over half of her face. She had on army green long pants, a white tee shirt, black half gloves (gloves that only went half way up her fingers), white sneakers, and a black hooded shirt with a pocket in the front that was pushed up to her elbows. Her skin was also much darker then Sasha’s pale skin had been. She wasn’t anything like Sasha, not at all.

“Hello Roxas.” The girl said. Her voice wasn’t that high or low, probably on the high side of average, but much low than Sasha’s was.

“How do you know my name?” Roxas asked, his voice shaking.

“It’s me, Sasha. This is my true form. Here my name is Dexzas, got it memorized?”

“Hey, that’s my line!” Axel said.

“Sasha, I mean, Dexzas, Sasha isn’t in there… how is that?”

“Sasha isn’t my original name, that’s just who I was in your life, in your memories.”

“How about you guys go some where else and talk.” Xemnas suggested. Roxas nodded and opened up a corridor to darkness.

Roxas’s Room

“Dex, can I call you Dex? Are you still Sasha? Do you think like her? Act like her?”

“Yeah, you can call me that. Roxas, you have to let go. You have to realize that you are my friend, and always will be. You have a special place in my heart and that will never change. Remember what I said, because nothing will ever change, not in a million years. But I am not Sasha. I never will be Sasha. No, I won’t act like her. She is a very happy, hyper person. That just isn’t me. I’ll still be friends with you, but it won’t be the same.”

“Dex, do you like me?”

“Like I said, we are best friends. But nothing more than that. That was a Sasha thing. I’m sorry Roxas.” Dex looked up at him. She looked sad to have to say that. She went out the door.

Roxas followed her down the hall. She was deliberately walking down the hall. She came upon Axel’s room and went inside. There she was quietly talking to him. Roxas couldn’t hear well so he crept closer.

“Axel, do you know the rules?”

“Yeah, I do.”

“I know that I am to be in my original form and all, but do I have to leave?”

“I don’t think that was a rule. I think you can stay.”

Suddenly, there was a huge smile on Dex’s face. “Oh Axel, this is great.” She said and continued to smile.

“Yeah, it is great. But Dex, are you sure that Roxas won’t get mad?”

“Roxas liked Sasha, not me.”

“Dex, in Roxas’s mind, you are Sasha” Axel stared at her.

There was silence for a long time. “I guess I never thought of it like that. But I am so much different than Sasha. He couldn’t like me, could he?”

“I am pretty sure that he could.”

Roxas had heard enough. This girl was Sasha! Who are they to say that she isn’t? He didn’t want to hear anymore of this. But he couldn’t stop listening.

“Axel, I was um wondering if you’d like to get some ice cream.”

“But what about Roxas?” Roxas froze. Yeah, what about me?

Dex looked around a couple of times and then held out her hand. “Who cares about Roxas? Come on, let’s go.” Axel shrugged, griped her hand and opened up a corridor to darkness.

Roxas stayed quiet until he was sure that they were gone, then he ran back to his room.

Roxas’s Room

He lay down on his bed, just looking up at the ceiling. The words kept repeating in his head. Who cares about Roxas? If he wasn’t eaves dropping, he would have ran into the room and said, I thought that you did. But he didn’t. He had thought that she cared. He had thought that he cared. If this is Sasha, had Sasha ever cared? Had any one ever cared?
