Roxas's Decision

Hey, Does any one remember the story Kairi's choice? It was a story that I wrote a while back that ended a month ago. This is the sequal! No one expected it? The first part is from Axel's point of view, but after that it's really from Roxas's point of view.

Chapter One

The Castle that Never Was

Axel woke up. He was tired. It had been his job to stay up late last night to wait for Roxas to get home. He had volunteered because he thought that he would get to talk to Roxas. Yeah right.

He was still quite tired but he wanted to get out of bed anyway. Xemnas doesn’t like late sleepers. He changed into a new coat and walked down to the kitchen. All of the organization members were there. The he instantly woke up. Roxas was there!

Axel grabbed a few pieces of bread and some butter then sat down next to Roxas. He toasted his toast by carefully running his hand over it. After he had finished with that, he excitedly talked to Roxas. “Roxas, it’s a surprise to see you around here.” He joked. He made it sound like he was joking, even if it was the truth.

Roxas laughed. “Yeah, I guess I just love spending time with Sora, Riku, and Kairi. It’s nice to be with people your own age.”

Axel had never thought of it that way. “I guess I never thought of it that way. I just never see you any more. Well, not really. I mean I’ll see you when you get home and wake up, but that’s about it.” Axel said with a bit of sadness in his voice.

“I’m sorry. I guess I thought you would understand, maybe see it my way? But I have to leave at 9:30 to go see them. So I guess we can’t really talk now.”

“Um Roxas, it’s 9:35.” Xemnas said.

“Oh my gosh! I have to go! Axel, will you clean up for me?” Roxas said. Before he even waited for an answer, Roxas disappeared into a corridor to darkness.

“Yeah, sure thing.” Axel said. It was pointless, Roxas was long gone.

Today Axel just had to wait for Roxas, no chores. He decided to read some magazine. He had already read all of his. He opened up the door to Zexion’s room. Zexion was always reading some thing. The room was very organized, nothing was out of place. He walked over to the book case. He picked up some random book and walked back into the main hall to read.

He had picked up a war book, lots of blood and people dying. The story needed some sort of fire, but other than that, it was pretty good. He had read a few pages of it when he heard a knock at the door. He looked around, no one else was going to get it.

Slowly, Axel got up to open the door. He saw a small girl standing out side. “Sorry, I don’t want to buy any Girl Scout cookies.” He said and started to close the door.

With lightening fast reflexes, she held the door open. “I’m not here to sell anything, I want to see Roxas.”

Axel stared at her for a few seconds before letting her in. She looked young and small, but I guess she could be Roxas’s age. She was a little bit shorter than Roxas. She had reddish-blonde hair that fell to a tiny bit below her shoulders and fell into her face. There was a pale blue head band in her hair. Her skin was pale. She had navy blue eyes. She was wearing a pale blue long shirt that had a pink ribbon around it and thin straps. Underneath of that, there were pink leggings. She also wore a pink beaded necklace.

“Excuse me, who are you?” Axel asked.

“Oh, I’m sorry, my name is-” She started.

Suddenly, Xemnas appeared. “Axel, who is your friend?”

“I don’t know superior. She is here to see Roxas.”

“Then take her to Roxas.” Xemnas said and disappeared into a corridor to darkness.

“Where’s Roxas?” The girl asked.

“He is on Destiny Island.”

“Where’s that?”

“It’s.... well never mind. Let my take you there.”

“Okay.” She said. She sounded a little scared. Axel quickly opened up a corridor of darkness and pulled her through it. “Woah.” Was all that she said.

Destiny Island: On the beach (Roxas’s Point of view)

It was another wonderful day with Sora, Kairi, and Riku. Today, it was warm and they were playing volley ball on the sand. It was Kairi and me again Sora and Riku. We were losing, but we were still having fun.

It was warm and in mid morning. The sky was bright blue with a few clouds, not the stormy clouds, but the white fluffy kind. It was really warm but not to bad.

“Sora, can we take a break?” Kairi whined.

“Yeah.” Sora said

The four of them sat on the beach, letting the sun reflect down on them.

Suddenly, Roxas saw a black section a ways down on the beach. Axel stepped out with a girl. They walked closer to them. The girl looked familiar, very familiar. It looked like she could be… no it couldn’t be. But it looks like her.

“Hi Roxas! I’ve been looking for you for so long!” The girl said and ran up to hug him.

“Oh my gosh. It really is you.” Roxas said.

Kairi had this disgusted look on her face. “Roxas, should I be jealous?”

“Kairi, Sora, Riku, this is-”

Mwahaha! Cliff Hanger!

So that was chapter one!

Hmmm....It seems you're implying some sort of KairixRoxas pairing. I can't say I'm all for that, but blah. :p

I've written a page of it so far (microsoft word) and they are usual 2-3 pages so maybe an hour and a half

 

ww man! ending without telling me her name! Damnit! I'll just have to wait..

Chapter Two

Flash Back

Axel stepped out with a girl. They walked closer to them. The girl looked familiar, very familiar. It looked like she could be… no it couldn’t be. But it looks like her.

“Hi Roxas! I’ve been looking for you for so long!” The girl said and ran up to hug him.

“Oh my gosh. It really is you.” Roxas said.

Kairi had this disgusted look on her face. “Roxas, should I be jealous?”

“Kairi, Sora, Riku, this is-”

End of Flash Back

“This is Sasha.” Roxas said.

Sasha giggled, Roxas blushed and looked stressed. “Roxie, what’s wrong? You looked confused.”

Kairi was glaring at him, hard. “Roxas, you never let me call you Roxie. Roxas, what is going on?” Kairi said annoyed.

“Sasha, can I talk to you?” He pulled her behind a few bushes. “Sasha, what are you doing here?”

“Don’t you remember me? I’ve been looking for you ever since you left. I missed you so much. You just left, and I was left standing there alone. I haven’t taken off the necklace you gave me since I last saw you. I thought you’d be happy to see me again!”

“I am. It’s just, it’s just. I don’t know. I missed you so much. I wanted to go back and see you, but I wasn’t allowed.”

“That’s why I looked for you. And now that I’ve found you, things can be exactly the way they were, better even.” She smiled and hugged him once more.

Just then Kairi burst in. “Roxas, I can’t believe you!”

“Roxie, is this girl your girlfriend?”

“You must have forgotten to tell her that little detail.” Kairi screamed, close to tears before running back to her room.

Sora and Riku whistled and walked away. Axel had been gone. This left Roxas and Sasha on the beach, alone.

“Roxie, what’s going on?” Sasha asked sadly.

“I haven’t seen you in a year. I was put in the organization, forced. There hasn’t been any fighting lately. Right now I am Kairi’s boy friend, and I like her a lot. But also, a few months ago, I found out some things about me.”

“What?”

“Well, I found out I was never supposed to exist and that I don’t have a heart. But I’m over it now.”

“What? That’s impossible. But I guess I’ll believe you. I’ve always been able to tell you anything, and you’ve always been able to tell anything to me. I trust you.”

“Thanks.” Then he looked up and smiled. “I like it when people trust me.”

“Roxie, what are you going to do? I mean you were with me and now you’re with Kairi. Who are you really with?”

“I wish I knew. But I have to go talk to Kairi.”

Destiny Island: Kairi’s Room


Roxas peeked into Kairi’s room before knocking on the door. Kairi was sitting in there. She was writing something. She looked upset but she wasn’t crying. Roxas knocked on the door. “Hey Kairi, it’s me.’

“Roxas? Go away!” She said.

Roxas continued to stand at the door. “Kairi, I talked to her. It was all a big misunderstanding! She knows that we are together and she has to respect that. I know Sasha, she just wants me to be happy and would never do anything to break us up.”

“Roxas, what happened between you two? Why’d you leave her?”

“Well, it’s a long story.” Roxas start.

Flashback

Sasha and Roxas were holding hands walking to her house. They were just talking quietly and both looked extremely happy. It was a spring day. The sky was light blue and sunny.

“Roxas, will you walk me in?” Sasha said, smiling.

“Sure, is any one home?” Roxas said, a blush appearing on his face.

Sasha giggled. “Why, does it matter?” When Roxas didn’t respond she continued. “No, no one is home. But nothing’ going to happen! We are just going to go in for like a second, a minute at most. It’s no big deal.”

Roxas knew that it was going to be trouble but walked in anyway. He put down his book bag and took off his coat. Then he sat on the couch next to Sasha. “You okay? Can I go now?”

Sasha was staring out the window. He saw it too, the sky had turned dark. “Roxas, I don’t want you to go out in that. A minute ago it was a perfect day.”

They both heard a chuckle and looked up. There was a man in a black hooded coat standing in the room. “Don’t go out side? Pointless. Things just are bad are about to happen in here. Roxas, you are coming with me.” The man said in a deep voice.

Sasha scream and I hugged her. “Me, what do you want we me?”

“Say good bye to your friend Roxas, you won’t be seeing her for some time now.”

Roxas felt himself being pulled into a dark hole. “Sasha, we will meet again. I will try to find you and I hope that you will try to find me. Never loose hope!” He was stilling holding on to her and turned away from the hole to hug her goodbye.

End of Flash back

“You didn’t want to leave her! You still like her!” Kairi was even madder than before.

Kairi push a note into Roxas’s hand and closed the door. Roxas slowly unfolded the note and a sad look spread across his face.
