Digital Art Roxas Render

Eh, I did this one pretty fast, but it came out pretty good.~

 

Let me ask your something Misty, are you using the eraser tool or magic wand or freeform marquee tool?

 

Well, I dunno if they have this in Photoshop, but I use the Quickmask tool.

 

No, they don't, mind explaining?

 

Well, you take the Free Select Tool (I think it's called the 'Lasso Tool" in Photoshop), and make a very rough selection. Then, you turn on the Quickmask and fills everything EXCEPT your render with red. After that, you take out your Paint brush tool. Painting in black will deselect parts, and painting in white will Select parts.

Why'd you want to know?

 

Becuase...well...in all honesty it's not that great. The render is extremely rough.

I find that the only way to make a truly great render is the lasso tool + zoom in photoshop. All other methods are just cheats that don't really produce good results.

Anyway, it's a pretty nice render, Misty. It looks very well done, though the edges could be shaped a little better. And bring the quality up as well. :/

The hair looks OK but the arms are really bad. Your other renders were better.
