Traditional Art Roxas and Winter time

This reminds me so much of myself, I HATE winter with a passion. I mean sure it's fun the first big snow, but half way though you just go "UGH! I HATE this cold, and getting boot fulls of snow, AND SLIPPING ON EVERYTHING!" ....well, maybe not so much the last one for other people but me being a klutz, *ahem* anyways, yea I don't see Roxas loving the season much either.

So, taking into consideration all the tips I got from my Kairi With A Paopu drawing, I did my best to add those little details and I think I did an pretty good job.

Oh and his pants, I know they are kinda tacky, but I didn't know what else to put for them so they just ended up checkered.

Okay my little rant is over now.


I think this version is a bit cleaner than the coloured version, and a bit easyer to see although it lacks shading. I kinda like it better.





The camera killed this version, it's all fuzzy and stuff ~_~ The shading could probably be a little better too.

How can you hate winter?
I would do anything to see snow.

You did well with the colours but the hands seem a bit small and the fingers all weird like
The details of the clothes are nice.

Sorry but winter takes up a little under half of spring and a little under half fall here, it's already getting to -2 after the sun is set. I'm sure I would love winter it it wasn't so darn early coming and late leaving.

Thanks you, and I kinda noticed, I tryed to fix it but the fingers are still angled weird, about them being small is sort of because the jacket is coveing part of them.

The outfit design is so cute! <3 And annoyed Roxas just adds more to the cuteness. ^.^ I think you did better this time with the folds, more/sharper won't hurt for the jacket to show how big and warm it is. If you didn't want to draw his fingers you could have made him wear mittens? :3

The hair bangs are too flat though (even if he wears a hoodie that'd be logical, but it's still too flat looking), I would say that the dark shade is the main cause of that. Erase somewhat in the middle part to indicate a highlight shade and it will get a shape quick enough.

Again, something about the head that needs adjustments - it is just plain too big... In real life he'd probably fall on the ground due to gravity. :x Try shrinking it a little, just enough to keep the natural balance. And I would have made the head more slim/oval than it is now. You can mostly tell when looking at the hoodie, it made his head have this circle shape. Sharpning the edges on both sides of the hoodie might help.
