Hello all, I've just been wondering how many people would be interested in Role playing any of these concepts:

    -Star Wars

    -Elder Scrolls (Skyrim)

    -Lord of the Rings

If anyone would be willing to Play one of these please post your thoughts here.

    Thank you, all.

Star Wars has been tried a few times(I've done it myself) though as for someone making a new RP based off it...I don't really have any comment.

Funny thing, I thought about trying to make a sort of RP based off Skyrim but there really wasn't much plot to work with despite the massive background built into the world. It'd be nice seeing how the OC form would be and the powers/abilities allowed since that'd probably be the biggest issue for an RP like that. I'd be interested if the RP was done well.

As for LotR...would it be set during the trilogy? Before? After?

Well, this is the main reason why I posted this thread instead of just trying to make one of the above, I'd like to know what people would be interested in, and to have input from them.

The reason I picked the three above is because they all have massive ammounts of background information attached, I personally don't care between any of them.

With Skyrim I'd have to do a lot of work planning out what powers would be avaliable, maybe all of them, but you can only have one or two per character, there'd have to be limits and such involved.

With Lord of the Rings I think it could work any of the ways, I wouldn't want to do a repeat of the storyline, so I'm leaning more toward before or after, rather than durring. But I'd like to see people's input as to what they think would be best.

Star wars seems appealing. (I could see Jedi's godmodding way to quickly here)
Lord of the rings would have to work with a different storyline, though since there's already a prequel, I'd like to see the events after maybe.
Skyrim I don't really see becoming a thing. Though this does inspire A Dungeon's and Dragon's concept I wouldn't mind seeing done.

Yeah, Star Wars would have the same powers problem Skyrim does... I'd have to limit the number of Jedi/Sith, or make everybody a Force-user.

Lord of the Rings, After the Trilogy, opens a lot of new ground; but, in the Hobbit, the events are (mostly) minor and of no real consequence to the rest of Middle Earth (for that time period, at least). And with the Lord of the Rings a past RP could be done even before the Hobbit time period.
