EA continues to prove that it's the worst company in gaming, waiting until the last possible moment to announce this. Instead of announcing it three or four months ahead of time, they announce it 30 days before happens. It says in the Terms and Conditions agreement that EA has the right to shut down the service if they give 30 days notice. So instead of announcing this before the 30 days mark, they try to get every last dollar they can out of it, in fear that they might lost sales if they announe the shutdown. Shitty.

Well, that's quite a shame. From what I've seen of the game it looks fairly decent.
Leave it to EA to go and do something as stupid as this >.>

That's greedy publishers for you though. Not much we can do but complain, I suppose.

Since it is a vague statement that just seemed to pop up without much warning (even to those at Harmonix that should have known about this in order to handle the complaints and questioning), there is a piece of me that wonders if in the programming on the server it will automatically spit out that message if it thinks it needs to as to comply with the Terms of Service. Largely though I would think it would be on purpose, that would be some odd coding. I just don't get why EA would be so quiet about this. If it was a mistake then fix it, if it was on purpose then it should be properly announced and justified. Pulling it off in this fashion is just asking for trouble.

EA makes Activision look almost nice at this point. :/

I've never played the game, but I've seen photos on the internet. It did look like a good game. Can't believe EA didn't even warn Harmonix.
