Some are made from fan art...never bad, don't use fan art. Second they lack depth and effect and flow. Work on these as well as basic things like lighting, brushing, and filter use. Look up some tutorials you can find them here and on DA as well as render sites.
Protip - if you use fanart you will need the artist's permission before you even concider to use them. If you don't have it then it's the same as ripping. Now you know until next time, ALWAYS have the permission. Like Spitfire says, they could need more work to avoid looking too simple and empty. It's just something that you have to train yourself up to do, so keep trying OK? There is a subforum containting tutorials and help so take a look there for inspiration. :3
