I decided why talk about one band in general when you can talk about all the bands in the record company.

I'm talking about RoadRunner! Theory of a deadman, Soulfly, Slipknot, Megadeth, Machine Head, King diamond, Trivium, Devildriver, CKY, you name it.

(I hate Nickelback being in roadrunner though)

    Any Roadrunner fans?

Can't get Sweating bullets out of my head! Dave Mustaine has to be one of my favorite frontmen!

Dream Theater has a bizzare sound but I like it!

Nightwish reminds me of the classic days.

I really like Within Temptation. I'm surprised they're not bigger. Jillian is one of my favorites by them.

Thank god somebody agrees with me. Nickelback burn in hell!

Now we're sorting by record companies? Well, damn, I believe I may be beat in pickyness.

Also, Metallica and Jimi Hendrix are overrated, but Slipknot and Trivium aren't?

I only know Nightwish and Slipknot. My Mexican friend on the PSN should know all of them. He likes this type of music.

I'll admit Slipknot has lost a bit of it's touch after All Hope Is Gone but Trivium certainly isn't overrated!

I'm not gonna lie those two bands are really good but everybody talks about them and I guess Slipknot is becoming one of those bands. But you don't hear about Trivium everyday.

I'm Mexican too =) Well get him on here!

No you're not. He says he's Asian and something else, but he told me he was Mexican a while ago.

He loves metal, that's practically all he talks about.

Firstly Dream Theater. Best band ever.
    Then Megadeth and Within Temptation.

I heard Dream Theater are going to be on tour if not they already are.

Did you see Megadeth live on the metal hammer golden god awards? One of their best moments.

I'm just getting into Within Temptation so I can't say much

I'll look it up in a bit, enough spamming though!

    I'm curious on something.

What do you think of Tool?

Cause I saw a huge fight on GameFAQs between fans of Dream Theater and fans of Tool.

I like Dream Theater more personally

First, Gamefaqs was your first problem.

Second, apples and oranges man. While they are both prog metal bands, Dream Theater's work shows more instrumentality and technical skill while Tool's is more experimental and has more metaphoric and interpretive lyrics. Its really not possible to truly compare the two.

Oh well let's see....there is Within Temptation, Nightwish, Killswitch Engage, Dream Theater (Greatest Band Ever!!!), and slipknot (Because they are from my state, and they rock!) well those are all of the ones that I know of, I am a boring person right now...

And I just listened to a song by within temptation on the radio (Internet radio) and they are really cool, reminds me of nightwish but I like within temptation less...

Tool has a few good songs.
Dream Theater has more experience though.
I prefer Dream Theater, they were probably the first to mix Metal with Progressive music. Well there was Fates Warning or Queensryche but they were both more metal influenced though.
Dream Theater is the best Progressive Metal Band in my opinion though.

This and what Cloud said are what I think. Tool's pretty good at creating an atmosphere with their music, but I prefer the powerful rock sound of Dream Theater.

Hey has anyone heard of the Roadrunner United CD/DVD? The record label was celebrating their 25th anniversary and decided to do something kick @ss so they decided why not get the “All Stars†of Roadrunner and create one big screaming orgasm album by mixing all the musicians.
