"Are you sure your enjoying yourself?" Evan said looking at her, "you seem rather sad....everything ok?" he asked concerned.

 

Shigiku looked uo at Evan. "Yeah, I'm fine," she said and smiled. "I just have something on my mind... that's all. "

 

"Well...would you like to talk about it....this is a date after all...." Evan smiled reaching across the table and gently taking her hand, "I'll listen....."

 

Becky blushed as he took her hand and reluctantly looked down. "I'd rather not talk about it..." she said.

 

"Well if your sure..." Evan said letting go of her hand, "ah looks like the food is here....smells good...." he smiled getting Beckys plate and laying it infront of her, and doing the same for his, "mmm I bet it will taste just as good as it smells...." he said picking his hamburger and taking a bite.

 

Becky smiled as she took a bite of one of the chicken strips. "It's just as good as it smells," she said after she had swallowed. "So... is there anything else that you are interested in? Writing? Cooking? Swimming? I could probably name off a whole list of thing..." she said and laughed. She took another bite of her food.

 

"Not really.....drawing....and relaxing are mostly the things I do...." Evan smiled eating some fries, "but I'm really enjoying my time here with you as well...." he said taking a sip of water.

 

Becky smiled as she ate a few fries. "Wow, you really need to get out more," she said and laughed. "I'm just kidding. Those are great hobbies. "

 

Evan laughed finishing off his burger, and eating his fries, "hmmm....you should be one to talk...." he grinned, "your pretty shy....how do I know you get out a lot?" he joked, "but I don't care.....I like shy girls....." he smiled.

 

Shigiku blushed and smiled as she finished her food. "I get out... I just don't usually hang out with alot of people..." she said.

 

"Well you can hang out with me whenever you want...." Evan smiled finishing his fries, "as long as we don't have homework.....unless we worked on it together...." he grinned, he got out his wallet and left the money on the table, "ready to go...." he said offering his hand to her.

 

"Alright," Becky said as she smiled and took his hand.

 

Evan walked outside with Becky and opened her door for her, "there you go...." he smiled closing her door and walking over to the driver seat and getting in, "ok.....are you in the mood to see a movie....?" he asked.

 

"Yeah," she said and smiled at him. She could feel herself blushing. "What movie do you want to see?" she asked him.

 

Evan thought for a second, "well action and adventure movies are ok....but I'm not into them that much....comedy.....ah kind of...." he said, "but I was thinking maybe we could see a maybe a little more romantic style movie....if you don't mind that is...." he smiled starting up the car and driving onto the road.

 

"It's fine with me," Becky said as she smiled. She blushed a little more. The nervousness is coming back... she thought.

 

"Ok...." Evan said driving and reaching the movie theater parking lot, "excellent we beat the crowds...." he smiled shutting off the car, getting out and opening the door for her, "this is a fairly nice theater.....also if your still hungry we can get some snacks...."

 

Becky stepped out of the car. "This is a nice place," she said as she looked around. "But I don't think I need any snacks," she said and smiled.

 

"As you wish...." Evan smiled gently taking her hand, "if your uncomfortable with me holding your hand....just tell me....." he said walking up with her to the booth, "hmmm lets see here....a romantic style movie......" he said looking at the choices, "two tickets to that movie there...." he said pointing to the movie and buying the tickets.

 

Becky held his hand and smiled. She blushed, but not because she was nervous, it was because she was acctually on a DATE. she had never been on a date in her life, so maybe it was because she was nervous.
