Rising Dawn

Alice smiled happily and glided over to another chair. She sat down.

 

"Link is very lucky to have you guys here."Jin said smiling and grabbing a piece of food.

 

Alice smiled. "Yeah, I guess so," she contemplated and then gave Jin a dazzling grin.

 

"Whats with the grin?"Jin asked.She started to think about Link."Umm.what are they hunting for?"Jin asked randomly.

 

"Well, Link's favorite is mountain lion but thats not near here so my guess is deer," she said, so calmly that they could have been talking about tomorrow's weather.

 

"oh,I see I'm sorry for asking so much questions."Jin said.

 

"No its ok. YOu have a right to be curious."

 

Raxbend walked out the door beside Link.

 

"Come on, I saw a herd of deer in the meadow south of here," he said and took off.

 

Raxbend took off right after Link

 

Jin ate the food slowly.As she ate she thought of Link.She started to blush.

 

Ever so slowly Link let himself slip into his hunting mode. They came upon the deer in no time and with a couple of snaps he was ready to feast.

 

Raxbend smiled as we found the deer. but Raxbend looked at Link "So why did you past the line to save her" Raxbend asked

 

Alice grinned. "Somebody's crushing," she said in a singsong voice.

 

Her cheeks became redder.She placed her hands against her cheek to hide them."Oh no..no..umm..Oh I'm sorry do you have a restroom?"Jin asked.

 

Link stopped drinking. "Well," he said thoughtfully," She seemed interesting and those filthy mutts would have....well....many things and none of them are good." He continued drinking.

Alice laughed, sounding like tinkling bells. "Down the hall and to the right."

 

"ok" Raxbend replied Raxbend turned his head and saw a deer so bolted at it with lightning speed

 

"Thank you"Jin said.She walked down to the restroom.She opened the door.She started the water in the sink."Why did I get that strange feeling?"Jin said while washing her face off.She dried her hands with her dress.She came back to the same room."Thank you!"Jin said

 

"No problem." Suddenly she got a blank look on her face.

 

"So are you a vampire too?"Jin asked.
