    Found out at school today. I'm pleased that a South American country is hosting the Olympics for the first time (hell, that's probably why the IOC picked Rio), but I am disappointed; I do live in Chicago, after all.

    I have to say, any country that hosts the Olympics usually ends up with some type of Finance problem.
    Stupid stupid England...

    Anyway, I hope with the longer time in preperation Rio will host a spectacular show and stadium. Congrats.

    Personally I would be fighting NOT to get it, bloody Olympics cause more issues than good for a country.

    They just chose Rio because of the topless beaches That's good, I figured Rio would win. It's outrageous how much of an uproar the U.S. got into about Chicago. South America needs its time in the spotlight too, and I wouldn't even want the Olympics hosted anywhere near me.
