Kingdom Hearts II Riku with a Nobody

Well, not in the usual means.

 

Ahem, Sora and Roxas. Hm... Well, technically he did become a Heartless, twice, once when Xehanort's manipulated Riku's body into becoming his own, and then again when he took on the form and additional powers of Xehanort's Heartless... And I see, it's true, it's not just your heart leaving your body, it's becoming a Heartless, Kairi only had a Nobody because of how her heart was in Sora's as it got overrun with darkness, making Sora a Heartless. (it's as if Kairi became a Heartless too, she just didn't really) But if ya think about it, Riku did technically become a Heartless, twice technically.

 

I don't get it. Can you explain this in a more detailed manner for me?

 

Riku became darkness itself, and allowed Xehanort's Heartless to sort of possess him, and when Xehanort's Heartless, going by the name Ansem, tried to go for Kairi and Riku wouldn't have it, Riku fought him with the strength of his heart... Xehanort's Heartless winning, and taking full control of his body, turning it into his own Heartless likeness... Riku's body became that of a HEARTLESS, Xehanort's to be exact. THEN, unable to defeat Roxas as he was, he took on the form and powers of Xehanort's Heartless that were recorded in his heart, and essential became a Heartless.

 

Makes sense to me.

 

Doesn't make sense to me. He lost to another's heartless. He never became a Heartless himself if that is the case. So though it is somewhat like that I still don't think that it makes sense. He may have gotten all darknessy and such but he never like lost his heart. It was always accounted for, we always knew where he was and never once did he become a Heartless. The second time he retained himself and he was a whole. He can't be a Heartless and a whole at the same time. That's how I see it at least.

Riku can't have a nobody cause he was never a heartless/ didn't lose his heart. He only let the power of darkness concour him twice. He maybe one with the darkness but with a nobody-nope!

 

Yeah, I gues that's a possibility. Would've been cool though.
