Kingdom Hearts II Riku with a Nobody

When Riku surrendered himself to the darkness, do you think a Nobody could've been created?

 

I don't think so, cause he didn't lose his heart I believe. He just became completely one with the darkness. But then again it could be possible that a nobody was created.

 

If a nobody was made, then that would mean that he's a heartless (which I seriously doubt). He just learned to use the power of darkness, that's all.

 

I thought about a similar thing but it's kinda backwards. If something like that would happen. Ansem Seeker of Darkness is a Heartless and took Riku's body. He was destroyed. So it stands to reason the body went along with it. But, Riku still existed as a Heart and spirit. So one could say Riku was sorta like a Nobody in himself. A Nobody is just a wayward spirit even after the body has gone. This is at least if memory serves.This was never really explained. So, I could be entirely wrong at this point. It's just how I see it.

The Part about Riku himself being a nobody is half true cause he was in twilight according to DiZ (Ansem The Wise) in KH: COM R/R (Reverses/Rebirth)

 

You know if you think about it when "Ansem" possesed Riku in Kingdom Hearts Riku's heart was lost and went to Kingdom Hearts A foreign heart in a body creates a nobody, that's how Namine was made so maybe Riku should have a nobody. Xehanorts Heartless could be viewed as Riku's heartless.

 

Well Kairi had a nobody while she was normal. You dont have to stay as a heartless to have a nobody.


I think that Riku probably has a Nobody.

 

I always thought of it like, simply because Riku himself wields both Darkness and Light, that it's nearly impossible for a Heartless or Nobody to be created from him..

I mean like, a Heartless is created when someone's heart is submitted to the Darkness, and they end up losing their original form.. Only after that process (With some exceptions) can a Nobody be formed using the body that was left behind..

Therfore, you may think of it as if Riku is maybe half Heartless, but overall still human, which is why he couldn't possibly have a Nobody...

 

Right... That's how I saw it, that (especially) when Riku took on Xehanort's Heartless form, he became some sort of "half-Heartless", being able to keep his heart, but also act as if he was a Heartless... Being able to do all the things that would normally corrode one's heart with darkness, with no further consequences... I think through and through though that Riku has a Nobody... but we haven't yet run into it, and it is NOT Axel. (gah, don't ya hate how everyone loves to jump to that conclusion?) He technically DID lose his heart though guys... Once Xehanort's Heartless took full control of Riku's body and made it his own... Riku's heart was "kicked out".

He can't have a nobody, because when he opened himself to the darkness, Ansem Seeker of Darkness took over his body. For a nobody to be born, they have to have the body and soul of a person.

 

Not necessarily. As stated at some point I may or may not have imagined. Disney backwards said that Nobodies were wayward spirits and survive even after the body has left. So, it's true Riku can't have a Nobody. But, many downplay the importance of the possession. Whatevs. My thoughts.

 

Well, Riku may not have a nobody, but perhaps his time serving as Ansem's vessel created something new...

That, or maybe Riku accidentally found a new process to make a nobody.

No way could he have a Nobody. No offense,but it's impossible. His heart and soul remained together and the soul is the important part of the Nobody. Nobodies have no hearts and Riku was just a heart and soul so he couldn't have a Nobody. He could be like a Nobody but that's as close as it could get. Most people assume that it was only his heart that was kicked out by the possession. But then he'd become a Heartless. He didn't he kept his consciousness and 'self'. That's how I see it at least. so, no Nobodies were involved as I see it.

 

Any one remember that Namine woke up in Castle Oblivion not Twilight Town?

That sort of explains how Riku wound up in the bottom floor of Castle Oblivion that was his nobody and he was naturally causing emotions but doesn't realize he is a nobody (Nobodies can use darkness OrgXIII is prime proof of that) and it also explains some parts when he is very emotionless.

Oh and he wanted to help Sora get better because... HE LOVED HIM!!! as a best friend and was embarrassed to show him that he became a darkness addict when he went into the darkness spiral and it was this love that wanted him to hid it from sora cos they say when you have a friend you share a soul. (But if he was a heartless in Castle Oblivion then Namine may have restored him when she posed as Kairi.)

 

Well, I did say something NEW could've been created.

But who's to say that Riku didn't accidentally create an ARTIFICIAL nobody.

 

I'm good with the new thing. (Why I said nothing about it.) Artificial? How do you mean? That makes no sense. LIke I said back on the first page if anything he'd himself be a Nobody plus a heart(sorta). The Nobody would not be separated from him as Sora and Roxas were under his circumstances.
