Chain of Memories Riku Vs. Hades

yeah i'm still on riku's story(even through i got the game when it came out) i need help on the Riku vs. Hades battle. I keep dying,here are my stats-
Level: 24
HP:245
attack points:18
Dark Points:16

normally i just train not stop to beat a boss but i thought I would ask here instead.

 

Stay Away from him on the beginning,and everytime you need to move,use a dodge roll to do it.
Begin using Maleficent enemy card(Or use Guard armor gor more ranged attacks),and use only your highest value cards on him,breaking as much as possible.

After you enter D mode,use the Power Wild enemy card,and unleash some Dark Firagas and (don't remember if possible in this version)a Dark Aura.

After you used all your sleights,keep doing some two hit combos on him(If you didn't use Maleficent enemy card,use it now),while in D Mode of course,because in most bosses,the second hit of Riku attack causes Paralize effect.

 

Powerwild is key. You deck of crappy cards suddenly becomes pretty solid. Wait for the moment to try then nail him.

Otherwise, keep your distance. This is the only Riku Battle (well, maybe Ursula too) where i found myself having a hard time (Proud Mode). It's tough to break his attacks without stringing random cards to beat him random sleights while normal. Keeping your distance by roll dodging. attack only when you can win a break and then follow up with a combo. Then back off.
