Ugh, I've been trying to defeat Riku for over an hour (it's the final battle with him).

What's the best way to defeat him? Even though I've broken the Dark Aura sleight many times, he still manages to catch me off guard.

Well I liked to Sonic blade him a fair bit. Also have cures. Lots of them.

    I also recommend a few Mega-Elixers.

What is your CP-HP raitio? I don't remember the exact one, but I found restarting easiest, as I bought FAR too much HP.

I think I beat him with every cure card I had, stacked so that it always equals 10 or more on a Curaga sleigt.

I also only had 0 Keyblades filling the rest of the deck. YES THAT WAS MY ENTIRE DECK!

This anti boss deck went unmodified until I beat Marluxia. Its the best anti boss deck you can build. Just play denial, whenever they try to do an attack, play a keyblade, and use Cure or Curaga whenever your HP gets low.

Also, use Trinity whenever you get a donald and goofy adding up to 10+.

Also, whenever you use Trinity or Curaga, try to use it while they are shuffling thier deck. That is the only boss strategy I used.... IT PWNS MARLUXIA SECOND FORM THE WORST!!!!

Sounds interesting ICSP, but not a deck for me.

I would use a fair few cures, and a few sonic blades.

But that is neither here nor there.

What I think is that you have screwed your leveling. You should have a 1:3 HP-Card Points. It may sound silly, but it made life easier for me.

sadly... I just waited till he ran out of cards from using sleights and would break his mega/regular elixir with a 0 card and when he's hopeless.. beat him up bad

You have to be careful in this match depending on how much health you have.

Try not to use sleights, since they fail at the worst times. Pack all the 0 attack cards you have and 0 magics, preferably Fire and Cure. Don't use summons, unless you have 3 Clouds for an Omnislash. Learn to dodge Dark Firaga, which is fairly easy since you simply have to do a Dodge Roll at the right time. Be careful and don't attack recklessly. Do a 3-4 hit combo and dodge roll away from him to avoid damage on contact. If you're near Riku, dodge roll out. If Riku has a sleight on hold, try not to attack him but don't just stand still. Keep some distance and fire up a 0 fire card if you have one or break the sleight with a 0 cure.

For the deck building, pack your highest numbers, not your strongest keyblades. Try to stay away from cards under the 7 value. Keep your 0's and heals at the back of the deck for easy access. Try not to abuse any sleights sans Sonic Blade or Curaga. If you need to, try to raise your Card CP or whatever the heck it's called.

Well, I ha a lot of trouble on my fourth time, too :sweatdrop: so rest assured you are not the only one! I would suggest trying to get the card Gargoyle so you can disapear for a turn before reloading. Use your attacks wisely for that time period, and then make sure you have a lot of cures!

Oh I had trouble with him as well and I only did it recently.

Ummm all I can say is have a lot of cure's and have every single 0 card you have in your deck as if you use a 0 card he can't use dark aura. If you still can't win level up that's what I did.

He's also difficult on the last fight with him on the Riku levels, that's where I'm stuck ^^;.

You use sleights on bosses??? All that does is shorten your combative longevity.

The guy had like 1150 CP... like 4 Mega Potions, Mega Elixers, and Mega eithers.

I dont think longevity was a problem for him. Also, if Riku played a Zero card, his strategy would have went down the toilet.

To start with, you'll want to bring loads of 0 cards into this fight. Use
them to break Dark Aura and only to break Dark Aura. You'll also need a number
of Cure or Tinker Bell cards, plus the Parasite Cage to break Incrementor (Riku
doesn't use Dark Aura as often once his enemy card expires). If you have Holy,
which always hits hard against character-type bosses, bring it along. Riku is
faster than Sora and has the sense to stay moving while his deck is rebuilding
    itself. To counter this, use attacks that'll seek him while he's vulnerable;
Omnislash and Judgment both work fairly well for this purpose. Finally, if you
can afford the cards, break Dark Aura every time with Zantetsuken. If you can
then shatter his items, you'll rapidly whittle down his deck. Riku is usually
too dangerous to engage in a war of attrition but can still be defeated in this
    manner.

Be sure to stay at medium distance if you can, out of range of most of his
attacks and far enough to see Dark Firaga coming at you. This battle will test
your ability to jump and dodge-roll as well as card break to the limit, but
with patience and perseverance (and maybe a little luck), you'll win.

If the battle we're talking about is the one while Sora is talking to Namine, then that's where I'm stuck as well.

Dark Aura always gets me, but thanks for the advice! It'll definitely come in handy. Oh yeah, almost forgot. Anyone have any advice as to where you can get a Mega-Elixer, Mega-Potion, and that other last Mega? LOL I think Holy would help a lot.

Riku was pretty tough to beat, he really got on my nerves some time. Well, actually Repliku, not Riku, but, same thing.
