well i can answer the first,ansem/xehanort took over riku 4 a while,in chain of m. when riku fights him he said my shadow will still linger which makes the connection between xemnas and riku.

It well could be that Xheanort and riku are father and son. But the what would be the point of following sora for 3 games running?

WAO. That's a sick theory, yeah! ^^ And the logic you used to support your theory is great.

While they may not be related, they may have a lot in common. If it's possible, Xehanort is that knight who takes off his helmet near the end of the KH FM+ Secret Ending. And if that is true than they both had friends that they cared about and protected, they both were the oldest (God they're tall (0_0)), and a susceptible nature towards the darkness. (Though Riku got over his easily).

ooh all good theory's i love it wuhahah :p it makes my head spin i am going insane though. i hate it that we need o wait so long. well the knight dude ho looks like xehanort i have a strange feeling he is xehanort butt then again we could be wrong.

and about riku being relatives with ansem uhm dont thinks so i forgot ho it was butt he said also he could then even be sephiroths sons because of the hair. understand people with grey almost white hair are always the coolest dudes in game think of it :p . srry people i am being a little drunk so no offence to no one if i am spamming. butt like the four chasers their are also four new chasers/ sora/kairi/riku/mickey thats what i am thinking it could mak sense. and something has bugging me to the final sentence of the trailer

each of their fates pass trough and gather together / a new story awaits the awakening. the awakening of what well if someone has a suggestion please share

I guess they scrapped that look for the knight that looked like Sora in the new secret ending. I guess they replaced it with a Roxas-looking kid? I dunno. I might have missed something?

Thank you guys so much for helpin me out here. I have a couple other things that I could relate to Xehanort and Riku being related but they're not as solid as the other ones. Please let me know if you have anything else that could help me with this theory!

I believe personnally that they're not related by blood, but rather by destiny : somehow, I feel that they have had roughly the same fate, which is why everyone always compares them.

Hmm, those are some good, well suported ideas, but I don't think they are related. The reason Xemnas says it like looking in a mirror is because Riku looked like Xehanort's heartless at this point. There is a scean in Fm+, the one were Roxas and Riku are fighting, where Riku gives in to Xehanorts heartless then looks like him(i figured it happened over time, not all at once).

As was said before, he smells like the superior since his heartless is currently in Riku's body. As for the bred in his bones thing, i think it refers to Xehanort's heartless doing evil things from inside his body. If they were tring to imply relation, it would sound more like "his bones were bred by evil" or something.

Regarding the similarities to the Xemnas/Sora and Riku/Roxas battles,I can explain them. Firstly, Riku was having trouble in that fight, as shown by his giving in to Xehanort's heartless. It doesn't make scence for him to fight normaly, then fully give in. This was actualy his second time fightly Roxas (as stated by the second Ansem Reports). He would have realized he would have trouble since he lost the first time, and dicided to draw on the power of darkness, yet not give in to, to power of darkness. Since he was drawing on Xehanort's heartless, It makes scence that his fightling style would be similar to Xehanort's nobody. Also, Roxas and Sora have similar fighting styles for obvious reasons.

So Essentially, it is the same battle with the "same people" in the same place. I think that is the point the creaters of the game were trying to get arcross. This is possibly a way to try to get across the connections between the characters to new players.

Sorry to shoot down your theory like that...
Although we do know nothing of there parents, I don't think think the new games will focus on them. For some reason, I don't really like the direction of, "Hey LOOK! those guys in amour look kinda like Sora, Kairi, and Roxas. They must be their parents, although there are three of them." I must say though, I liked your parent theory the best.

Yes I realize that now so give me a minute to delete that post.

I've tried as hard as I could to come up with some good theories but most of them have been flat-out wrong. This one was the only one I could get some real info on. My parent theory was proved wrong when I saw the FM+ version of the secret ending. But who knows? With Nomura's mind, we may see something completely altered.

Hey, you don't have to delete anything. Although It has been proven wrong, it was still a good theory, and it made people think. With all the speculating people did, we now understand a new area of the series better. It's a good thing to refference, and shouldn't be deleted.

Since there's already a thread about the secret ending which is noted most of you posted the same theory in.
