Kingdom Hearts II Riku and the Nobodies

Well,in KH1 Riku lost his heart to the darkness(When he turns "Ansem"),right?
That makes him a Heartless so why he doesn't have a Nobody?

Imagine a Riku nobody it will be really cool

 

Actually, when he was seen in Neverland, he told Sora his heart was too strong for the Heartless to take. Then, in Hallow Bastion, Ansem took over his heart when he was about to fight Sora. But a fragment of his light managed to tell Kairi to run, and finally he stayed behind Kingdom Hearts when the door was being closed. The only thing that really changed about him was his hairstyle in KHII.

 

As far I'm aware he turned to darkness enough to allow 'Ansem' to possess him, but not enough to become a Heartless himself. And later on when he uses the powers of darkness to apprehend Roxas, his appearance changes but he keeps enough control to avoiding succumbing to the darkness. Using darkness does not automatically make you a Heartless, or all the Disney Villains would have been Heartless long ago.

 

Riku never became a Heartless, his body was only ever taken over by one. When that happened, a sliver of Riku's light still remained, telling Kairi, Goofy, and Donald to run from Ansem SoD.

I suppose that there could be a portion of a 'Riku Nobody' in Xemnas, but I wouldn't toil around that theory too much.

But yeah, if he had a Nobody, that would be pretty cool.

He wasn't a normal pureblood heartless. He was posessed by a Heartless himself, so there's no normal way of going about that problem. He didn't have a Nobody because he still had control of his heart, he never lost it to darkness. He only lost his body.

Xemnas existed long before Riku was EVER posessed by Ansem SoD. Also...

Xemnas is Terra and MX's nobody (technically anyway).

I know that, but when did Xemnas first exist? I know that some time before Kingdom Hearts, Xehanort the apprentice had turned himself into a Heartless and thus created Xemnas, but it couldn't have been that long before Ansem SoD possessed Riku...

 

it had to have happened at around the same time that Radiant Garden became Hollow Bastion. in the manga, it said that Leon &co. were only kids when that happened, but i wouldn't could that as a very reliable source. i would say that its been at least 5 years though, just based on Leon and Aeriths dialogue with Sora, Dnald and Goofy.

I could be wrong but I thought Xion was actually Namine. I also thought Axel was Riku...

Um...wut? Axel, Riku's nobody? Lolno. Axel is Lea's nobody, confirmed in BBS, and Lea was a teenager while Riku was still a pre-schooler. Besides, they are nothing alike- they look completely different, sound completely different and have completely different personalities. So no.

And I can understand where the thing about Xion being linked to Kairi and Namine came from, but its not correct. I take it you haven't played Days? Xion is not Kairi's 'second Nobody' or anything. In fact...

But seriously, Axel being Riku's Nobody? lolwut. Don't get me wrong, Axel is a Nobody, we all know this, but he's the Nobody of Lea, the guy from Birth By Sleep. And Xion...ugh, even if she was a Nobody, she'd probably be Sora's other one. Because Sora's just that cool.

But seriously, Xion is just a replica, made by Vexen's replica program. The only reason she looks like Kairi is because the memories of Kairi are Sora's strongest ones.

Kairi can't even bear Nobodies, she's a Princess of Heart and therefore has no darkness in her. The only reason she has Namine is because Namine was created when Sora released his own heart, releasing Kairi's as well.

Double Nobody creation. Your mind has just been blown.

 

Yeah, I guess that technically means Sora has three nobodies. What a dude.

In fact, Sora could lead a team of 6 consisting solely of himself:

Sora
Roxas
Xion
Namine
Ventus
Vanitas


Of course, in the final game of the series it will be revealed that everyone was actually Mickey the whole time so its a moot point.
