bic:“I don’t think we have any in the building,” Daisuke softly replied, he walked over to a wall concealed by thick mauve velvet curtains and opened them. He chuckled at the fact that the velvet curtains were the same colour as his hair as he stared out of the window into the city below. Most of the humans residing within the underground city were asleep now but most of the vampires, hybrids and Freaks were still out and about. When Daisuke scanned the city a little more he saw a human and vampire occasionally mingling together, he smiled when he saw in their minds that their intentions towards each other were pure. “I guess Yuka is happy that one of the goals of creating this resistance has succeeded…” He fixed up his messily tied hair before he continued. “Apart from bringing Chiyon down, Yuka also created this resistance in hopes of humans and vampires being able to work together… and it’s worked.” Daisuke sighed again. "Aly, if a couple didn't want to have a child, they would of taken precautions to stop that from happening. Trust me, I know what-" Daisuke trailed off and almost fell backwards when the stench of blood hit him. Hard. And it wasn't just anyone's blood. It was Yuka. "Oh god."

Yuka limped into the main building of the city and made her way to the nearby elevator. She kept the hood of her cloak over her head to hide the gory wounds she had received in a battle with Chiyon and her men she only just managed to get out of a few minutes ago. Yuka quickly got into the small elevator and when she pressed the button that went up to her office and the elevator was moving, she rolled the sleave of her cloak up and looked at the deep gashes that criss-crossed all up her entire arm. She had forgotten how ruthless and sadistic Chiyon could be in battle. As the elevator door opened Yuka quickly rolled her sleeves down before Aly or Daisuke could see, she stepped out of the elevator but didn’t go any further before she collapsed to the ground.

"Yuka!" Daisuke got startled by the sudden collapse of Yuka. He raced over to her and helped her sit up against the wall. He didn't need to go into her mind to find out what happened to her. He could smell it. "Chiyon got you, didn't she..."

Aly jumped, and reached for her arm knives instinctively, before realizing she had forgotten to bring them along. Watching, she curiously tilted her head as Daisuke rushed to help her. It didn't matter that she was Yuka. She wouldn't go near her until all the blood was gone. For all Aly knew, that was some poor human's blood. If it was, Yuka wouldn't have long to stay in this world.

"God dammit Yuka, you should of just ran away when you had the chance." Daisuke's body tensed up, he was holding back a lot of murderous intent and hatred towards Chiyon right now. His grip tightened slightly around her shoulders.

Yuka coughed up a handful of blood, she did get quite a beating from Chiyon but she couldn't help but let a smug look spread across her face. "She walked away with injuries too," she said breathlessly, her body was starting to go numb from the pain... and from whatever Chiyon did to that hunter that she ate.

Smiling slightly, her head tilted to the side, Aly eased away gently, towards the nearest window. A good escape route, if needed. An even better suicide sight, but she hoped it wouldn't come to that. So messy. Her eyes focused on the two vampires. She had chosen to trust Daisuke, but was that necessarily the smartest choice? Maybe he had just brought her to help Yuka settle some hunger pains.....or as a play toy. Maybe she should just leave. Or maybe he was sincere, and Yuka wasn't so bad.

And maybe the moon was made out of cream cheese.
