Reverse This Curse

Daisuke grabbed hold of Aly's wrist and pulled her up and away from the ledge. "Just because you a 'worthless human'", he quoted, "Doesn't mean that I am going to have you for myself. There was one human girl I knew over a century ago, lets just say because of her I never wanted to take advantage of any humans again."

 

Aly closed her eyes, praying she hadn't looked stupid or weak, then forced herself to study his eyecolor. "It's always a girl." she murmured, weakly smiling. "If it brought her back, would you give me to others?" she was so confused about these vampires. Why wouldn't they destroy her where she stood?

 

Daisuke's crimson eyes dimmed a bit, he never really liked talking about the other girl, it was because of him that she took her own life. He foolishly thought that turning her to save her from an injury would be a good idea but she still ended up killing herself. Before the depression was visible to Aly he pushed it to the back of his mind. "I think it would be best to let her rest in peace, I don't want her to experience the horrible feeling of being brought back to life and then being killed. It's never a nice feeling." He glanced at Aly's face, she looked confused as to why he wasn't destroying her there and then. "I better get you home now."

 

Aly watched him, then smiled slightly, shaking her head. "I thought I had you vampires all figured out." she murmured. "I guess I was wrong. She meant something to you, didn't she?" He had pretty eyes, more like that other vampire, the one who had hinted she would be a fun toy, or familiar or whatever. "Well....." she shrugged. "You could leave me here to suffer, and maybe die, or you could go through the trouble of taking me home, where I would be able to probably never repay you."

 

Daisuke couldn't help but smile himself. "Do you want to walk or would you like me to carry you?" he said teasingly. He felt somewhat comfortable around humans, he didn't feel so lonely he thought.

 

Aly kept her face upright, still watching him. "I'll walk.." she took a step back, then grimaced. She would have to look down. "On the other hand...." she could jump. Get it all over with. Of course, breaking the limbs would bring other vampires. Tenatively, she looked down, then cringed. Damn this crippling fear of mine. Damn me.

 

Kaji quickly made sure to appear as if he were playing his own part, as he ran over to Chiyon. "MA'AM!" he yelled, as if he were worried, as he kneeled down before her, checking to see if she was alright. "You're weak at the moment, and the council has requested your attention immediatly. They say that its an emergency. You should get out of here." he said to her, hopefully pulling off the immatation of any of her other worthless meat pawns.


"He told me about it actually..." Prometheus said. "Prometheus, a member of Greek legend as one of the titans who brought fire down to man. His punishment was that for all eternity, he would be stoned down, and a vulture would come once a day to eat his liver. In other words.....he was in a state in which he could not even die..." Prometheus said, as he walked past her, his shoulder bumping into hers. "Catch my drift?" he said with a grin, as he approached the edge, and had a seat. "So granny, is that all the entertainment you can provide?"

 

Chiyon's head snapped in the man's direction, all of her subrdinates and pawns knew to never be near her when she was in an angered state. Like she was right now. And she also knew for a fact that everything was going smoothly in the citadel or else she wouldn't of wandered out to this tomb. One thing that she was sure of, this man wasn't anyone that worked for her. "Get away from me." she hissed venomously. The fingers on one of her hands started to furiously dig into the ground, so much that there was continuous scraping and crunching noises as her nails scratched away the pavement.

Yuka smirked. "I just recovered from an episode I had a few hours ago. It'll take a few days for me to fully recover. I'm sorry sweets but you'll have to wait." She sat down beside Prometheus. "There is a dueling arena underneath this building but I think it would be a bit cruel if I sent you down there with all the new recruits."

Daisuke sighed slightly and walked over to Aly, he scooped her up in his arms and jumped down from the rooftop with ease. He looked down at her face, he took in her scent, memorized it and then set off in the direction of the trail that her scent had left.

 

Aly kept her eyes closed until she was sure there were no more heights involved, then opened them slightly, looking up into the face of the vampire. "Though there is a certain dramatic element to being swept off one's feet, I would prefer you ask." she concluded, hiding her fear behind a smiling mask. "But...thank you." she said quieter, closing her eyes again. Vaguely she wondered if he was toying with her, and meant to kill her in the end. She sighed. She would let him, she owed him her life a few times over already.

 

"I wish you'd stop thinking that I am going to kill you. I don't want to do anything perverted to shut you up.", he teased. "But yes, I will ask next time before I romantically sweep you off your feet as your knight in shining armour." He grinned jokingly, showing that he was merely trying to lighten the atmosphere.

 

Aly smiled, her eyes lighting up. "Wouldn't armor make it easier to hear you coming? If so, I would be gone before you could sweep me off my feet. Then you'd be sweeping the air." She still watched him, but not as warily. He was almost human like. Almost. She could still see the differences in little things.

 

"I wouldn't be sweeping the air if I caught up to you." he said innocently. He almost moved his hand to grab her behind but resisted the temptation, on the account that he wanted her to trust him. He momentarily looked up at the sky as he ran to get his mind out of that area.

 

She shook her head. "You'd be surprised." she told him in a dry tone, brushing her hair out of her eyes. "Besides, what exactly would you do if you caught up to me?" she colored her tone with bland curiousity, her eyes sparkling. He was so......much like her. Maybe it was true vampires still could have some humanity. If so, she had a lot of rethinking to do.

 

"It depends on what mood I am in", Daisuke teased. He stopped in front of her house and he set her down on the front steps. "Well I best be off." Daisuke muttered, he waved as he turned around, a small part of him wanted to stay there but he knew he had to go.

 

She smiled, then wobbled slightly, her feet unused to being on the ground again. It hadn't even been that long, she thought grumpily, but then sighed. She didn't want him to go, he was interesting. "Wanna stay for a bit longer?" she offered, amazed she was actually offering. "You could figure out what kind of clothes I wear, and I can figure out your blood type." she grinned at the last one.

 

"Well I guess I could stay for a little bit longer..." Daisuke sounded like he was trying to make a tough decision. Not that he was anyway. "Oh what the hell. I might as well."

 

She grinned, then left the door open for him, going to rummage in the kitchen. "You don't have to try so hard, you know." she called out to him, finding an older apple, not quite rotten, but not fresh. Biting into it delicately, she closed the cupboard, hoping he wouldn't do the creepy sneak up behind someone trick.

 

"But ma'am!" Kaji said to her. "Please, let me help you. You don't seem as if you're able to walk" he said as he tried to put his arm under hers so that he may carry her out of the room. Though he was not sure if she had caught on yet, he knew that if anything, now would probably be the best time that he had to attempt to try and get close to her.





"Simply send me somewhere that I can fight until Kaji comes back..." Prometheus said. "Fire needs to burn life in order to live. get it?" Prometheus said. He slightly felt that, as old as the hag may have been, she was in fact someone that he may be able to get along with......for the time being.

 

Daisuke got a flask out of the pocket of his jacket and took a swig if the contents, after a few moments his thirst almost died away completely. Sticking his tongue out, he made an over-dramatic disgusted sound. "This stuff never tastes good when it's cold."

Chiyon grabbed the man's arm before he could grab hers, she gave him the darkest, coldest look she had. "You're not one of my men. I know full well that you're not. Because they are smart enough to not come near me when I am in a pissed off mood." she hissed. Now Chiyon was curious as to who this man really was. "Who are you anyway?" she asked in a more controlled voice, she wanted this over quickly, she felt a change coming up soon and she didn't want anyone to see it.

"There's an old rundown building that needs to be demolished that's in the far corner of this city, you can go there and wreck things to your dreams content if you want." Yuka pointed to the south-east part of the city, a rather old battered-looking building stood lingering in the shadows. It was abandoned and no one would miss it. Plus is would probably keep Prometheus occupied.

Cadence grabbed a hold of Rik's hand and pulled herself up, she clung to his arm for a moment when the sharp pain shot though her. After it dimmed down Cadence stood upright and darted out of the door as fast as she could. It wasn't long until she collapsed to the ground again from fatigue of blood loss. "Shit..." she cursed underneath her breath.

 

Eva shuddered, she could only imagine what was in there. "Bet it's not as good as fresh." she muttered, taking another bite of apple. Louder she said, "Make yourself at home, I have enough room." Smiling lopesidely, she dropped herself into a chair before the day's events caught up with her. "So....I'm Aly." she said, holding out a hand.
