Reverse This Curse

Rik seemed pleased by the fact she was holding back, "This makes things interesting", he said dashing forwards to cross swords with Chiyon. He wanted a close range example of her real strength, his philosophy was knowledge through combat.

Kraine had left after finding the book a while ago. His teleportation abilities would only allow him to go to places he knows or can see on a map. For him this map book would allow him to go to any place in the entire world except for a few recent places he either knows about or plans to get to.

 

Chiyon grinned, she unlocked the last 'door' that was holding back her power, a wave a air exploded from her in all directions any loose objects that were on any shelves were knocked onto the floor. It had been a while since she let all of her strength through her so it felt like she was getting an adrenaline rush. A major adrenaline rush. "For once I don't have to hold back anything." Chiyon said with a heavy sigh, like a weight was being lifted off her shoulders.

 

Rik was almost knocked off his feet by the blast caused by her power release. Keeping on his feet but being stopped dead in his tracks he had no other choice but to take up a blocking stance or be flung back. His sword defending himself in a diagonal straight block much like a samurai although Rik's sword was a Nodachi making it cover him from his head to his feet. This just barely kept him standing where he was.

 

Pressing herself against a wall, Aly listened, her eyes narrowed. Slowly, she crept along the length of the wall, her heart beating fast. Any vampire could hear it, she thought with an exasperated sigh. Even a human could at this point. Why was she so goddamn scared? She forced herself to breathe normally, quieting down. Shadows shifted behind her, but she ignored them, hoping it wouldn't be a fatal mistake.

 

Seeing an opening, Chiyon darted in behind Rik and grabbed him by the neck and flung him into the ground with brute force. She stood there while she waited for Rik to get back up. "You have gotten better since the last battle we had when I went all out, the one in that war all those centuries ago." she commented, her face grew smug.

 

Rik got up onto his hands and knees, smirking somewhat. He quickly spun around on one knee and punched forward with his armoured hand charged with black lightning towards Chiyon. AS he attacked he stood up making the punch into an uppercut.

 

"I don't know granny. I don't see any boyscouts or aids around to do that for ya, so you might not want to. Ya might hurt yourself." Prometheus said. He got chills alrite. Chills that ran down his spine, the thrill and excitement of a threat, and anouther chance to let himself cut loose. "Sure you can do anything without your kane?"




Kaji approached the citadal without much care. She said that it wasn't for vampires, and he never really considered himself to be a much of one anyways, but just incase, he decided to change his shape, so that way he may appear as one of Chiyons loyal followers. WIth his appetite, he had a habit of devouring many of them, making it easy for him to change shape. "Hope she isn't too busy." he muttered with a smirk

 

Aly whimpered as another shadow walked by, then immediately bit down on her arm, keeping herself quiet. The shadow stopped, turned, then kept walking. She let go of her now bleeding arm and ran the other way, quietly, trying to find a place she knew. She ducked down as another human walked by, cursing mentally. How much longer could her heart take this? Never mind that if a vampire heard her, she was dead.

 

Chiyon bent backwards to try and dodge the attack, it missed her by not even a centimeter which worried her quiet a bit. The lightning coming from Rik's armoured arm slightly singed the side of her face. Definitely not good she thought. Her mind was lingering elsewhere, in the time of when she was a human, a human who had a strong hatred towards vampires.

Yuka's smile grew even more dark, she made a loose rock near Prometheus levitate. With one movement of her finger it shot past his face, grazing the side of his cheek. "Don't piss me off," she said icily, the chilling smile still lingered. "Or else I won't hesitate to kill you."

Hiding his presence completely, Daisuke followed Aly from a distance. She didn't look like she was in a very good situation. Not a good one at all.

 

Creeping around another corner, she left her back open for a second, peeking to see if anyone was ahead of her. Too late, she remembered her open back, and whirled, knowing if a vampire had followed her, it would be too late. Never to late to try, she thought with grim humor.

 

Rik noticed the break in her though by him being able to hit when this was originally an attack to give him a chance to recover for a second. Seeing how the attack worked better he gripped his sword with both hand and let the lightning flow through it quickly as he struck forwards at Chiyon with a two handed slash, he usually used his weapon with only his right hand and with two hands his attacks where stronger and more accurate.

Before Chiyon could get her thoughts pulled together the lightning hit her in the stomach, it sent her flying into the wall on the other side of the room. Dammit she cursed. She looked down at her stomach quickly and noticed a hole developing. Memories started flooding back to her, unwanted and hated memories, human memories.

Daisuke snuck up behind Aly and clamped one hand over her mouth and wrapped the other one around her waist. "Don't scream, I'm not going to hurt you." Daisuke whispered. He sprung up into the air and onto a nearby rooftop.

 

Rik kept his eyes on Chiyon knowing that she might not be stopped by that. He walked over to Cadence, "We should leave while we can", he said not turning to look at her. Without Kraine then would have to run if Chiyon chased them.

 

Aly should have closed her eyes for the jump, but didn't have time. She was only human, after all. It made her stomach drop, and she struggled not to faint like a sissy girl. She had seen and handled much worse, but heights were beginning to scare her. Much worse was the fact that a vampire was taking her, and though he said he woudlnt' hurt her, she didn't know that.....did she?

bic: Kaji approached the tomb, tilting his head slightly. "This is where that stench is coming from?" he mumbled. He made certain to stay in the form of one of her underlings. He then started to walk into the tomb, seeing what appeared to be some sort of a battle. He only stood there, awaiting for Chiyon to recognize that her 'underling' was awaiting for her attention. After all, it would be tricky buissness if he disrupted the battle, and he had heard rumours that Chiyon had gained quite the tempor...


The rock flew past Prometheus, skinning the side of his cheek, but as it did so, it seemed as if it went through his face instead of cutting it, and not a single mark was on his face. For a moment, it almost appeared as if there was fire beneath the skin that the rock had supposidly cut open, but the wound healed up to quickly. "Tell me, wench. That all you got?" He asked her. He liked the girls style, but she obviously didn't recognize that there was more then one type of Freak around.

 

Daisuke landed quietly on the rooftop and released his hands from her and put them on either side of her shoulder. He didn't want her to freak out and fall off the rooftop, that wouldn't be a good thing. "Firstly, what are you doing in an area like this?" he whispered.

Chiyon fell to the ground, she had let her ground down and she was now paying for it. "Until next time Rik." she spat. She was particularly pissed that Rik managed to land a hit on her that was able to cause substantial damage to herself. She felt like she needed to punching something... or someone... hard, very hard. Chiyon bit down on her lip to hold back a scream of frustration that she felt rising in her throat.

"Think you could help me up?" Cadence asked, the pain in her gut was preventing her from getting up herself. Despite the amount of times she had been stabbed she still couldn't get over the pain.

Yuka grinned this time. "I thought as much, I knew there would be different Freaks apart from what Kaji is like." she stated. She walked right up in front of Prometheus, she kept a two foot distance between them. "Just don't try and tick me off in the future or else I will kill you. And I'll know how, because of a certain weapon I have in my disposal." She pointed to the temple of her head.

 

Rik held out his right hand to help Cadence up after sheathing his sword. "Can you walk?", he asked as he pulled her to her feet, "My companion who could teleport us had fled so we will have to walk out". He ignored Chiyon knowing anything he said would slow him down and make Chiyon's anger worse possibly giving her enough of a drive to attack. He didn't want to take that chance.

 

Aly slowly took a deep breath, keeping her eyes on the vampire. She didn't look down, barely blinked. Don't look.... "I got lost." She replied, keeping her voice steady. "What are YOU doing there?"

 

"Well this is the vampire district, of course I'm going to be here. I should get you out of here before someone else decides they'll pay a visit after smelling the scent of your blood." He kept a straight face despite the fact that his throat was starting to burn horribly with thirst, he's been in situations like this countless times before so he knew how to keep it under control.

 

Aly nodded, then tilted her head, more at ease. He clearly had some level of control. "Why not take me for yourself? I'm just a worthless human. No family, no friends. No one would miss me, so why not just make it easy?" She asked, keeping her voice low. Before he could answer, she turned, forgetting she was on a roof, and froze. A roaring filled her ears, and she couldn't turn away from the devasting height that filled the darkness below her.
