Chain of Memories Reverse/rebirth

That's where my habit of constantly updating my attack cards comes in handy... and unless you're up against a sleight-using boss, you don't NEED to boost it higher than 10...

 

I'm still stuck on Xehanort's heartless. and Riku sucks too.Espescially in the Xehanort battle. Every time I got into dark mode, he hits me with rockshatter, and I die quickly. If gameshark form gba was compatible with my ds, I'd own. But it's not, so i can't use cheats!

 

Just double press up or down whenever he's about to hit you with Dark Rush. It's not that hard to dodge...

 

Finally a Reverse Rebirth disscusion thread! Sweet! Lets see... Did anyone liked this game?

 

I liked it in Sora mode, but Riku was too easy, except for Xehanort.

 

Sora's mode is twice as easy as Reverse/Rebirth. Not that either are hard in any way.

 

I found sora's story harder. Riku was very cheaply overpowered.

 

Sora can beat all of the bosses under a minute easily (except maybe DarkSide). The fact that he can spam weaknesses and the fact that he gets such strong attacks like Blizzard Raid and OmniSlash early in the game make him pretty overpowered.

All Riku really has an advantage over Sora is maybe his light mode Dodge Jump, and the Dark Mode Stun attack and BBA. Even then, Sora gets Gargoyle, Large Body, Air Pirate, Creeper Plant, Vexen, and 0s along with Cures to make up for a worse dodging skill, and Sora's other stuff like Stop, Mega Flare, Holy, and all his other powerful attacks totally outclass Riku's attacks.

 

Uhh, Riku has 0 cards too lol

 

But nowhere near as many as Sora can have or have as many opportunities to use them.

 

Very true...

 

Riku's was a little more harder becuse of lack of magic but it at least it changes the storyline.

 

Riku lacked of not having white nor black spells but he still had dark spells like Dark Firaga. Riku is kinda of a character that focuses on spin-off versions of spells, take for example Dark Firaga, it came from the level 3 fire, Firaga spell.

 

White spells? Black spells? You mean like Aero and Gravity? :p

And Dark Break and Dark Aura are hardly spin-offs of anything. The closest things to them would be like Blitz or Sonic Blade...

 

White = Cure, Aero, Stop to a certain extent.
Black = Gravity, Fire, Blizzard, Thunder etc.
Blue (only Final Fantasy) Use enemy techs.

 

Whoops, I was thinking of only Chain of Memories terms.
