Chain of Memories Reverse Rebirth - Subbed Version

Not sure where to post this so I'll go for CoM since that is what it pertains to.

I was wondering if anyone was ever going to finish the <subbed> versions of Reverse Rebirth; the remaining missing ones? Some that are not present are found in the unsubbed version. I have a curiosity to understand what is being said in the unsubbed versions and my Japanese is not that good but to pick out pieces right now. Is there any intention of adding to the subbed version?

I think there may have been problems getting someoneto translate the videos Repliku, but i'm not sure. I don't think they will get finished now.

 

Ah, okay. That's a disappointment but I'll somehow live and hope that even though the odds are looking very slim, Re: CoM comes out in English. =:) Thanks for responding to the inquiry.

 

I didn't think final mix versions ever came out in english. Did Kingdom Hearts Final Mix ever come out in english?

 

i could probably tranlate it but it would take a very very long time sense im not that good...

its an international version
(look it up on wikipedia)

 

I could try to translate them but they'll be horridly inaccurate... I haven't even gotten Reverse/Rebirth on my CoM Game to try and use those "translations" (some of the sentences are completely reworded)

I COULD give it a shot since I so happen to have a copy of the game script that someone made... And I obtained...

 

It didn't come out it America, no. We're talking about somebody putting subtitles on the Japanese version so we can read it.


And Yukai you should PM a mod or something about that I guess.

I would like to see them subbed too.

I'm still thinking about subbing them myself.

I'm making a quick script right now using the dialouge from Basement 10 and seeing how that goes... I'm pretty sure that 70% - 90% of the lines I translated on my own are correct. I really want to make sure though, since I don't want to use anything that'll completely butcher the dialouge.

I'm going to ask my friend to help me out I guess if I agree to it.

EDIT: If anyone wants to know, this is how far I got:



I'm rewriting the dialouge in JP so I can run the individual Kanji in dictionaries and what not... And so I can send it to my friend since he can't seem to read the subtitles off the cutscenes.

The little blue block in Zexion's dialouge is where a missing Kanji I haven't found is supposed to go... [Compare that line to the video in the corner. You'll see a difference]

EDIT2: Oops... Zexion's last line in that script above reads as"

wakaranai no wa kare ga koko he [missing kanji]re ka riyuu desu

'ka' was really 'ta' in-game:

wakaranai no wa kare ga koko he [missing kanji]re ta riyuu desu


I just edited it now after realizing my mistake.

 

Well, sadly I can't read kanji yet so if anyone would complete the subbed versions of RR that KH-vids has, adding the missing ones, I know that some others and I will be very happy peoples.

 

Eh. I found a translation guide that seems to use the lines from the GBA version, which is what the videos on the site uses.

I could use those with tweaks if you want them out a tad faster.

Just say the word if you want me to use that script XP

NOTE: No. That isn't the final script, but it was the only "complete" one in my list XD

That script looks fine to me and is easily legible.

 

Yes, the script is good. I can read it perfectly fine and I'm sure others can as well. Thanks for doing that.

Yukai, I admire you for what you are doing. I am not really good with translating, although I wish you like. I have to ask, though, what is the program you are using? I am looking for a subtitling program, and that one looks good.

Roxas2605, lines change from version to version. It's a bit unprofessional to do that.
