Revelations (Re-made)

Diva lowered her eyelids and continued to stare at him. "It would be interesting to see if your father was The Gabriel, son of Archangel Gabriel."

Gabe blinked, "Son of Archangel Gabriel? Please, you don't believe that stuff. Angels, Archangels, they can't exist...ah, well maybe a few angels," he looked back at April and noticed she'd been very quiet, "Hey, April, you okay? You've been really quiet."

Diva glared at April, now that Gabe's back was to her, I don't believe it. He's ignoring me, to talk to that girl?! No way.

 

April smiled back at him, glad he hadn't forgotten her "I'm fine thanks, Gabe." She said choosing her words carfully, she could sense Diva's mood change now and she did not like it one bit.

 

Gabe grinned, "Alright, if you insist. Man, when does this day end?" he yawned, "I'm exhausted...but not enough to spoil tonight." Leaning back in his chair his large brown eyes settled on April and stayed there.

Diva could've growled. She perked up when Gabe mentioned tonight, "Oh? What's happening tonight Gabranth?"

Gabe frowned and looked between April and Diva, "Ah...well, it's kinda...I was just gonna keep this between April and me..." he looked to April, unsure what to do.

 

April smiled at Gabe but her eyes pleaded with him to keep it between just them, she really did not want Diva spoiling this for them. She did not want want to shout out but she really did not want that girl to come, "Um, how about we keep it between us, then do something with her tommorow? I just want it to be special." She suggested quietly. To be honest, the less she had to do with the girl the better but she didn't want to say that out loud.

 

Maddie just sighed at the love triangle that was April, Gabe and Diva.

From the corner of the room, a young red-head watched the group in silence.

 

OOC: Since everyone's bringing in new charas, I might as well join in.

Someone knocked on the door, causing Eliza to turn around and shout, "Come in"

The door opened to reveal a teacher holding a boy by the arm, "New addition to your class."

The boy struggled in the man's grasp, "Lemme go. Seriously, ever heard of a thing called personal space?"

Eliza raised her eyebrows as the teacher said, "Well, I wouldn't need to if you behaved" The teacher looked up at Eliza, "Have fun with him", before leaving the room.

The boy crossed his arms and glared at Eliza, "I suppose you're going to start bossing me around now."

Eliza sighed, so much for a pretty good group, "Only if you cause me trouble. We're doing experiments today." She would of explained all the details to him, but she had a feeling it would be lost on him. "Find a space and sit down please"

 

Gabe tilted his head and the corner of his mouth quirked up, "Ah, yeah, I hope that's okay with you Diva. I was kinda just gonna keep this between the two of us. We'll do something fun tomorrow."

Diva frowned, this girl had a special hold on Gabranth that she didn't like. "Oh, okay, I see. Hey, maybe we could skip next period and go do something fun then?" Her eyes were glued to Gabe as she batted her long eyelashes.

Gabe frowned at her, he didn't like skipping periods, especially one his father taught. "Sorry, my dad teaches next period. Angel Combat Training...he'll stick that katana of his through me if I skipped." Her frown was evidence enough for him that it was going to be harder than he thought to make her happy.

~Gabriel's office~

Gabriel sighed as a knock came at his door. "Ah, come in." A teacher stood before him and nervously glanced around at all the weapons he kept in his office/bedroom. "Yes, what is it?" "A girl has been asking around the school looking for you. She's not enlisted in the school and she's not an angel...should we remove her from the premesis?" Gabriel glanced down at his desk and ran his fingers through his hair, it was no longer the nice light blonde it once was. HIs hair had grayed slightly since meeting Sorcha and having Gabranth. "No...let her stay, enlist her in the school. Having a mortal around might be useful. Her name?" "Rosso Crimson."

 

Maddie sat uncomfortably in her chair. The atmosphere in the room sure had changed as soon as that Diva girl walked in. She glanced at April, blinking for a minute as she thought she saw her bare her teeth at Diva, She looked over to Gabe, who was red as beetroot and then finally over to Diva who looked like she was calm yet aggravated at the same time. Anything right now to draw alot of attention away from that Diva girl would be a big help but of course, such miracles don't exist.

 

April stayed quiet, she was happy about what Gabe had said, very happy except Diva's mood was making her seriously uncomfortable.

The new boy looked around the room decided their group looked interesting, unaware of what was going on, "Hey guys" He said in a fairly loud voice "And Ladies" He looked at the girls, moving to Maddie, picking up her hand and kissing it before she could react.

 

Gabe looked up at the new guy and grinned, he'd never seen anyone other than himself be so bold. "Hey there, buddy. I was starting to think it was getting a little wierd that I hung out with a bunch of girls all the time."

Diva had to hide her snarl as a new boy walked over to them. His loud voice nearly made her jump from her seat. She retreated back into her manners and smiled politely, "You sure are a loud fellow. Mind giving us a name?"

~Gabriel's office~

Gabriel jumped up from his desk, "No, that can't be. Rosso the Crimson is dead. I remember, I killed her over a thousand years ago. Over in Korea, she died and had a funeral to be respected. Rosso the Crimson is dead, now stop playing with my head and tell me the name of our new student." "But sir, I did. Her name isn't Rosso the Crimson. Just Rosso Crimson. She's a young red-headed girl and she carries around a long sword. Says she doesn't have any family anymore." Gabriel sat down and held his head, "Yeah okay. Ah, when class starts I'll have to deal with this girl before she causes harm to my son or the other students."

 

He grinned, "Daniel Blade at you service" He said, doing an over the top bow before looking up and adding with a twinkle in his eye, "Though you may call me Danny. May I have the honor of knowing all your names? Feels much more comfortable when you can put at a name to a face."

 

Maddie swooned as Danny kissed her hand but then she snapped back to reality at Gabe's comment. "I-It's not all that weird, I mean, Mr Mal- I mean Toby, used to hang out with Mrs Malcolm, My mum and Miss Moon all the time!"She remembered what Rita had told her a long time ago.

 

Gabe lifted an eyebrow at Maddie's comment and nodded slowly, turning his gaze back to Danny, "Name's Gabranth, but you can call me Gabe. Nice to finally hang out with a guy for a change Danny." He hadn't realized he'd rested his arm possessively on the back of April's chair, "You got any parents that teach here?"

Diva stared at the boy. Something about him reminded her of her adoptive father. The darkness that could cling to a person. Remaining silent, she glowered in her seat.

 

April smiled, "And I'm April" She said quietly, feeling she should also introduce herself. Although despite Diva she felt quite good as she could feel Gabe's arm around her.

Danny grinned and shook his head, "Nah, my dad..." Something made him glance at Maddie and stop, "Just no I haven't, sorry to disappoint. Anyway." He turned fully to face Maddie, "I still haven't had the pleasure of hearing your name. I bet it's beautiful to match your face."

 

Maddie blushed and giggled at Danny's comment. "It's Maddie...Maddie Mordio...." She said through fits of giggles, not knowing why she told him her sir name...

 

Danny had a flash of recognition for some reason at Maddie's name, it was familiar but he couldn't work out why. Although he did not show that thought on his grin. He laughed, "I was right, beautiful name for a beautiful girl."

 

Maddie giggled again. "T-than*Giggle*ks." She looked away quickly until she had calmed down, then turned to face him again. "So..uh..you new here?"

 

"Well kinda, I technically started the same time as you but this idiot teacher, who thought the sun shined out of his backside, decided it would be fun to boss me around. Naturally, I wasn't so keen so I complained. He saw this as me being disrespectful and so started ranting at me. I didn't think that was appropriate, so I decided that I didn't want to go to lessons with teachers like that. So I didn't go to their silly lessons, but now I've chosen to give them a go. See if all the teachers are like that numb skull." Danny answered, giving his own version of events.

 

"...Okay...so what really happened?"

 

OOC: You're not supposed to put that! I was making up a back story with some random insignificant teacher. The point being he rebelled and caused loads of trouble but he tells his own version of events to make what he did sound not like a bad thing.
