Revelations (Re-made)

Maddie sighed as she approached Yuri's class, why did she have HIM! She hadn't seen the others since Art, she'd spent the entirety of lunch in the library, being a nerd as usual.

 

Gabe sulked as he walked toward Yuri's class. His father had made him spend the entire lunch period with him, lecturing him on the proper way to treat women. As if he didn't know that already. "Damn him. Damn him to hell."

The dark figure shuddered with Gabe's harsh thoughts, silver words hovered around him. To gain is to loose, to loose is to gain. Beauty is flawed and so are you. Dark laughter echoed down the halls of the school.

 

Maddie looked up all of a sudden, was that....laughter? She was about to go and investigate when she saw Gabe approaching, "Hey!.....you okay? You're looking kinda down..."

 

April walked round the corner, clutching her books, spotted them and immediatly ran over, "Hey! Where have you lot been? I've been looking for you all dinner"

 

"Oh, hey April, I was in the library, studying for this class, I got the feeling Yuri was going to pick on me." Maddie sighed.

"Ahh, here are my victims" Came the worlds most obnoxious voice from inside the classroom. "Well don't just stand out there, get in here!"

"Yes your majesty" She rolled her eyes.

 

April raised her eyebrows, "Something tells me that might have been a good idea, wish I had"

 

"Didn't I just tell you?! Get in here. NOW!"

"Yeesh, someones in a bad mood..c'mon let's not keep him waiting." She dragged herself into the class.

 

April closely followed Maya, quite nervously.

 

Gabe took a seat in the back, away from April and Maddie. Muttering curses still at his father. He shivered, a lot of weird thing had started happening after he'd found that thing. Since Gabriel didn't want him to have it, he hid it in his room. Showing April was the only thing that made the day sufferable.

 

April sat down carefully, she was quietly dissapointed that Gabe hadn't sat with them and wondered why, her mind trying to figure out if they'd done something to offend him, she hoped not. She slowly looked up at Yuri, she'd got all her stuff out without even realising on habit but now she noticed quite how intimidating Yuri could be.

 

Maddie took out her stuff, including 16 books, 5 notepads and one giant workbook, filled with quadratic equations.

Yuri frowned at Maddie's stuff but quickly moved over to Gabe, "Hey, kid, get your books out, or it's detention for a week."

"Uhh, Bro....you okay?" Maddie asked him.

"Well what do you think!?" He snapped at her, drawing his sword and slicing Maddie's stuff in half.

"I was only asking!" She slumped back in her seat with her arms crossed, evidently sulking. All that work, all that knowledge and studying.....gone in a flash.

 

April watched in alarm, this tacher scared her and she did not want to get on his bad side.

 

Yuri sighed heavily, "Sorry sis...It's just, I'm not in the best of moods, as you can see..." He looked at April's alarmed body language. "Am I...really that scary when I'm mad?"

 

April didn't know quite how to reply, she just sat there tense lookng up at him and nodded very slightly. Although as she sat there a thought occured to her that would have made her laugh in other circumstances.

 

Gabe pulled his stuff out and gave a half hearted grin, "You can be when you're weilding a sharp sword." His hand closed on air, Gabriel had taken his sword too. "Too bad I don't have mine..." Shaking his head his sharp brown eyes pierced Yuri, "So what do we learn in this class anyway?"

 

"Well, ever heard of Modern Studies...you know when you learn about politics and Law and etc...etc, well this is basically that..but if I'm ever in a really good mood or I'm not in a good mood at all." he pressed a button on his desk and the whole room changed into a dojo of sorts, all the tables and chairs turned into training dummies. "...You can have free practise in my dojo, think of it as a warm up for last class, I believe that's with your father?" He asked Gabe.

 

Gabe sulked silently and nodded. "So you're not going to teach us anything?" His mind wandered to his secret and touched he empty loophole in his belt where he tucked his sword.

 

"Well, I'll have to I mean you have to learn so much in this class, but I would've thought you would have been happy about that, who wants to learn about politics? Anyway, today you can practise if you wish, I have some...business to sort out with one Cory Demonalute..." Yuri forced a painfully obvious fake smile and walked into a spare back room.

 

"Well this is a bit of a waste of time" April spoke up.

 

"No kidding, but if it keeps Yuri away then I can live with it..."
