Return of the Angels: Harry Potter/Final Fantasy VII

Hermione stepped outside and stared at her sword.

 

Fenrir pulled up to the Burrow as Cloud got off to see Hermione. "I see your up." he said calmly.

 

"I'm always a early bird." Hermione said, calmly as him.

 

Cloud crossed his arms. "Do you know how to use that weapon?" He asked her as Fenrir spilt open and eh pulled out the main blade of his sword out.

 

"I believe so." Hermione pulled out her sword.

 

"Then show me what you know." He said calmly as he stood there quietly, focused on Hermione.

 

Hermione ran forward, and swung her sword. Tifa and Aerith came up on Tifa's chocobo.

 

Cloud twisted his hand in time with the Main Blade and blocked Hermione's attack with ease as he didn't move his feet. "...That's weak." he simply answered.

 

Hermione moved backwards and swung her sword downward.

 

Cloud had reacted instantly, bringing the sword to block her next attack. "If you want to defeat something like Bahamut, this weak resolve will kill you in one second." He simply said and applied pressure to his sword and knocked Hermione's rapier into the ground.

"If you want to beat me, come with the intent to kill." He said seriously.

 

Hermione pulled her rapier out of the ground, she looked up at Cloud, her eyes glowing as if she was infused with Mako. She ran toward Cloud, swinging her sword much harder. Harry watched them.

 

Cloud's body reacted with defence and he effortlessly blocked her attacks. "It's better than last time...but." He grabbed her handle holding the rapier. "Your open." he said and kneeled her in the stomach, letting her hand ungrasp the rapier as he held it and pointed the raper at Hermione's face.

"We have a long way to go." Cloud said coldly.

 

Hermione sighed and took her rapier back. Ginny came out with her trunk and Hermione's. Harry ran inside to grab his trunk. Aerith sighed."How are we getting to the station?"

 

Cloud sleathed his main blade back into Fenrir's compartment. "I'd assume we ought to follow the kids, they are heading in the same direction as us." CLoud said to Aerith.

"I suppose there is that conclusion." Vincent said as he leaned again a nearby tree.

"Then it's settled." Cloud looked at Fenrir "Although, how am I going to get Fenrir on a train?" Cloud thought to himself.

 

Tifa thought of something, there was no way she would be able to ride her chocobo to the city, more or less, put it on a train. Hermione sighed, "Maybe, while we're waiting, Mr. Spike for Brains can answer some questions. What is materia? Who is Sephiroth?! What was that thing Harry was riding?!! And I want the answers from you, sir!" She glared at Cloud with her eyes still glowing. Aerith wondered if she was given the same treatment as Cloud and Zack.

Tifa sighed, she couldn't argue with the determination that girl was giving.

 

"Fine, I'll answer your questions." He said to her and sat on Fenrir with his arms crossed.

"Materia contains magic in our world and it's connected to the Planet as it also enables us to have an otherworldly strength, during our journey, we collected all sorts from skills to summoning mythical creatures." He said, staring at her calmly.

"Sephiroth was our common enemy during the journey as he was responsible for many incidents, he caused a masscare of a village, killed a president, summon the most destructive force, Meteor to destory the Planet and became a God briefly." he said very seriously and darkly. "That's just the sugar coated version of him."

Cloud breathed deeply and continued. "And that 'thing' as you call it is a summon which held Bahamut, the King of Dragons, one of the most powerful Summon Materia to date." He said calmly.

 

Hermione looked quite surprised and walked over to Cloud. She pulled the green orb and showed it to him. "So, these little orbs contain powerful magic and dangerous creatures inside them?"

 

"Correct, anyone could use them if you have a medium to channel it, in our cases, we used accessories and weapons, of course, we decided to not use them anymore after we defeated Sephiroth, we had to rely on our own strength instead of using an otherworldly force, so I asked everyone to give me the Materia and I sealed them away as well keeping them on me, if they fell into the wrong hands, it'd spell out disaster and we already experienced that with Kadaj." Cloud said calmly.

 

"Of course there were two very special materia, known as Black Materia and White Materia." Tifa said, Hermione stared at the materia. "This materia is pale green, does that mean something?"

 

"Green is either an magic attack or a status attack, Yellow is skills, Red is Summons and Purple is Secret and Orange is for Duplication." He said to Hermione.
