Return of Kira: Part Two-Betrayal

Jem watched her eat. "Wow...." The the chair hit her, making her turn around. "No problem. Didn't see you there. So what's up?"


He tilted his head and looked down at the food

 

Kyra then moaned in pain, arching her back from eating too much, and grabbing her orange juice, slugged it down all in one go, and reached for the tissue, quietly rubbing her bloated belly as it rumbled.

 

"Just hung over like f*ck." Lana laughed nervously. "Gonna get some coffee, be right back..." She said, scurrying off in search of the coffee.

 

The worst thing about her feeling groggy was that she did not get drunk the night before, but she had stayed in the cold outside, waiting to beat up the drunks from the pub, however, she had failed, and ended up with an additional illness of a cold.

 

"Okay." She said before watching Kyra eat again

He eat some eggs and watched as some fell off the fork and landed on the floor. He then looked at it like a young child transfixed with something

 

''Sorry, Jen for my obnoxious behaviour, however, I could not sleep or eat much the night before due to these creepy dudes in the pub randomly popping by, literally disturbing not only my sleep, but everyone who was in a light sleep'' Kyra said, looking at her spoon, checking to see that it was clean, and that the hotel were not ripping her off again.

 

Lana came back with a cup of coffee and a couple of slices of toast, as she walked back to the others. Almost stepping in the egg in her bare feet. "Eww..." She said in quiet disgust. "You just gonna try and move it with telekenisis sir?" She asked with a bemused expression.

"No..." He said looking back at the plate

"It's no problem. It's just a new thing for me."

 

Kyra turned around, recognising Lana, and waved at her, smiling softly before going back to looking at Jen, and whispered, ''I must be embarassing... Like, everyone in the army used to say I was a terribly hilarious eater, which was insulting at the time, until I took one long look at myself...''

She then looked at the mirror, remembering how she was teased for looking fat back in those days... And how she became anorexic for 2 whole years whilst in the army so that she could fit in, however, her metabolism stabalised after leaving the army, and strangely, no matter what she eats, she stays thin.

''God I must be boring!'' Kyra then murmured, calleously looking at the egg remains on the floor, and feeling a little like retching on the inside.

''Eww.. Egg... Cr*p...'' She managed to whisper, before remembering that she ate one earlier, making her feel worse..

 

Lana sighed a picked up her napkin from the place setting on her side of the table. Crouching down at Near's feet and wiping the mess up. "You alright?" She asked she tried to get the slightly yellow stain off the carpetting. "You seem kind of distant..."

 

"I'm fine."


"Are you okay?"

 

"You're certain?" She asked again to make sure, still not lifting her eyes from the floor. Happy for the excuse to post-pone eating.

"Yes I am."

 

"Alright... I'll leave it be then..." She sighed, deliberatly knocking into the table. Making the coffee spill over her untouched toast. "Crap..." Lana said facepalming and mopping up what hadn't landed on the toast. Throwing the eggy napkin on her plate and leaving to throw it away. Now she just had to hope Near wouldn't bug her into eating like she did to him. Though she had the feeling that wouldn't be so easy. Rather then heading back straight away she pretended to be busy for a mintue. Hopefully enough to distract him from her own eating.

Kyra looked at her plate, and feeling bloated, she sat there, ignoring her bloated feelings, asking for dessert.. However she clearly didn't look interested.

 

"No offence love but if you eat too much more there's every chance you're gonna go critical." Blondie sneered from the table opposite, flicking her long blonde ringlets from her face as she delicately licked off the remainder of the food that was still resting on her spoon.

 

Kyra looked at Blondie slightly, and got put off even considering lunch, and smiling half heartedly, feeling a little down from her latest memories, and quietly said, ''Thanks for telling me that...'' right before standing up, getting her credit card out.

 

"By the way, how old are you?" She asked, seemingly out of the blue.

 

Kyra turned around, surprised that she had been asked that question, and being curious of this woman, she then replied casually, lying through her teeth calmly, ''I'm 17 years old... Why'd you ask?''

 

"Well, I find it intriguing that most of the members of this little party don't exactly look their age." She laughed quietly. Indicating Near and then Lana. "And you seem awfully body concious, something normal in teenage girls. But in you overly so, it's written in how you sit and how you eat. You eat like a bulliminic and have the statue of a annorexic. As opposed to little miss shorty over there." Once again indicating Lana "How has the stature of a bulliminic and the eating habbits of an annorrexic."
