Return of Kira: Part Two-Betrayal

Benedict walked out of the room.

 

Blondie followed after him. "Soo... This is gonna sound kinda stupid, but do you have any idea who the people I was with last night were? I remeber it was two girls around my age, but appart from that I have no idea."

 

"What do you mean?" Benedict asked.

 

"Nothing going on."

 

"Like... They're names? I know I've seen the short one before, but I couldn't place the blonde at all."

"I mean, I don't think you've told me much of what you know about just how ill you are. I need to know... Please?"

 

"I don't know." Benedict said.

 

"It's just that I get muscles pain. That's all. Nothing to worry about."

 

"Are you sure that's it?" Lana asked, looking straight into his dark eyes with her own eyes of deepest emerald.

"One was... really quite short... Dark hair... Most likely black. I'm not certain. The other much taller, golden blonde hair and wearing a fair bit of leather."

 

"Yes I am sure."

 

"I knowthem but I don't know there names." Benedict said.

 

"I mean like code names or something, not actual names. I know you most likly know that, but it doesn't pay to not be cautious."

"Alright, how bad does this muscle pain get then?"

 

"Not that bad really."

 

"Has to be quite bad or you wouldn't be carrying around painkillers."

 

He sighed. "I'm not lying."

 

"Fine... I'll trust you..." Lana sighed. "I just worry about you something awful, you know that."

 

"Of course I know that."

 

"Hmm, I know one of them is called L and the other I can't remember who her name was." Benedict said.

 

"Good." She smiled shoving him gently with her shoulder. "And don't you forget that."

"L? That little runt is L? F*cking hell..."

 

"I won't."

 

"She calls herself that." Benedict said.
