Return of Kira: Part Two-Betrayal

After a couple of hours it was soon 7 am. Near had also fallen asleep and was now waking up

 

As she felt Near move Lana also began to awake. During their sleep she moved slightly so her head was now rested on his chest. Slowly her eyes flickered open and due to her monstorous headache the sheer white of his shirt almost burnt her eyes so she quickly snapped them shut again. After a few more moments she groaned a little as the pain of the hangover became much, much stronger and it tighted it's grasp on her.

 

Near slowly sat up, making sure that she didn't fall. "You okay?"

 

"Yeah... Just really... really hung over..." She mumbled, clasping her hands over her head.

 

"Want some pain killers?"

 

Lana started to nod, but it proved far to painful so she just made a small and weak nose that she hoped indicated a 'yes'.

 

He pulled two pain killers out of his pocket and handed them to her

 

"Thank-you..." She mumbled almost soundlessly as she looked around breifly for water before giving up and swallowing them whole one at at time.

 

"No problem."

 

"Well..." Lana mumbled pushing herself off of him with a tiny moan from the pain of movement. "I kinda... need to have a shower so excuse me for a bit... I smell like cheap booze, cigargette smoke and airplane food..." She explained standing up on her undsteady feet.

 

"Okay." He said and sat up and yawned.

Oh and did it log me off? And if it did what was the last thing I sent to you?

 

OOC- Hung over... She'll remember after she's had a shower and her head's a little clearer.

Lana nodded, rather glad she'd left her suitcase in the bathroom of her hotel room. Gathering up a complete change of clothes with him in the room would of been very embarasing for her, even in her hung over state. She disappeared for around ten mintues before reappearing, once again in her over sized green hoodie and the white dress. Her onyx hair still rather damp and quite tousled looking. But she didn't really care, she still felt awful so she didn't mind looking it. At least she'd had the energy to get some make-up on. There were some things she felt she had to do, no matter how rotten she felt

While Near was waiting he played with his hair and watched the clock

"So." Lana said, sounding much less hung over and pathetic then she had before. "Why are you carrying around pain killers? That not exactly normal for men."

"I get headaches sometimes." He answered, making sure he didn't make eye contact

 

"Number one rule of lying well: You always make eye contact." Lana sighed sitting down next to him. "What's the real reason?"

 

"That is the real reason."

 

"Alright then, what's the real exent of the problem? For just headaches sometimes you just know where the nearest ones are. Not carry them around. Unless you have a handbag or something. And I can't see you carrying one around."

 

"Why don't you believe me?"

 

"Because I know you, and you always try to make problem's seem smaller then they are. Not to mention everytime I've asked you something and you've looked away when you've been either lying or it's been a huge understatment."
