Return of Kira: Part Two-Betrayal

"Will you let me look at the stitches?"

 

"They're really gross though." Lana replied wrinkling her nose.

 

"I've seen pently of things before so I doubt the stitches will affect me."

 

"Why do you want to see them anyway?" Lana replied as she continued to ask questions.

 

"You say they hurt so maybe they are messed up."

 

"I dunno if they are..." She replied, biting her thumb nail as she pushed herself up into a sitting postion.

 

He sat down next to her in his normal sitting pistion "Okay."

 

"My head still hurts..." She mumbled leaning against him and resting her head on his shoulder.

 

He put his hand on her head. "I'm sorry to hear that."

 

"Gonna be even worse later..." She sighed "Why do I ket Mellody talk me into these things?" Lana asked no one in perticular.

 

"Guess you can't say no."

 

"That could get me into a lot of trouble." Lana giggled quietly, closing her eyes.

 

"Somewhat." He said and noticed she closed her eyes. "Should I let you lay down?"

 

"I'm alright..." she mumbled sleepily.

 

"Okay." He rested his head on her's without really noticing

 

Lana smiled to herself as she felt the weight of his head upon her's. Slowly she was drifting off to sleep again.

 

He leaned on the arm on the couch now and let her stay on his shoulder

 

With a small sigh Lana finally drifted off to sleep again. But this time it was more of a deep slumber then the nap it had been a few hours before.

 

He brushed her hair out of her face and smiled

 

In her sleep Lana fidgeted slightly, breathing softly but deeply. And her smile still lingering on.
