Return of Kira: Part Two-Betrayal

"Yeah, it's embarrasing. I recall falling into a bowl of petuninas... I have no idea how I remember that though, everything else is somewhat of a blank... Neither me or Near recall much about that night..."

 

Mellody couldn't help but laugh this time, patting Lana on the back as they walked.

 

"That's why I stopped getting drunk so much... I forget the last twenty-four hours if I get really plastered." She grinned "Anyway, here we are." Lana nodded, opening the door into the pub. "Oh good god... Not her..." She muttered spying the slender and frustratingly 'perfect' Blondie sitting chatting to a large group of men at the bar.

 

"Who's she?" Mellody asked looking at Lana expectedly. "Want me to hurt her or something?"

 

"Nah... She's just some b*tch who seems to of taken a disliking to me... Doesn't matter." She shrugged dropping onto one of the chairs at the back of the room.

 

Mellody smiled at her following her and sitting down next to her. "Well, i told you, if someone picks on you i'll take care of them... now let's go..."

 

"Thanks Mell, but I think I can handle it." She grinned. "So, what you drinking?"

 

"I'll take whatever." Mellody smiled.

 

"Alright then." Lana shrugged, leaving for a few moments and returning with a couple of glasses of white wine and around five shots of vodka each. "I figured I might as well get legless on one trip up there. I'll be hammered in a few mintues I can guarentee you."

 

Mellody staared at all the alchahol. "I'm going to be smashed.."

 

"Hun, all I need is one shot to be drunk. Two to be quiet badly p*ssed. And last time I was drunk I think I drank around ten shots. If you're a lightweight, it's better to get really drunk. That way you don't have to be sober for so long. Better to be the drunkest later then the most sober sooner."

 

"You don't even want to know what happened the last time i drank..."

 

"I apparently did a two mintue rant on Sakura from Naruto." She laughed taking a sip from her wine glass.

 

"Hate the b*tch." Mellody comented quickly. "Umm... you really wanna know what i did?"

 

"Does anyone actually like her?" Lana giggled "Tell me if you want."

 

"I hope not... i so f*cking hope not..." Mellody sighed shaking her head. "And i'd prefer not to..."

 

"You see, now I want to know." Lana giggled. "Alright, exchange. You want to know something that happened that could be embarassing to me? Just ask, I'll say, then you say what happened."

 

"Ok..." Mellody smiled. "What would you do if you saw Near naked? and then if Near saw YOU naked?"

 

"What?!" Lana laughed in shock, almost spraying her drink out.

 

"well...?" Mellody persisted staring her drink down thoughtfully.
