"Sorry I can't do any better..." She sighed hanging her head.

 

"It's a start."

 

"I guess..." She sighed, pulling her knees up close to her chest and hugging them.

 

"Maybe you should get some rest?"

 

"I'm fine... Slept on the plane..." She lied, but she hadn't been with Near for the enitre time. And he couldn't know everything she did after all. Could he?

 

"You're bad at lying."

 

"Fine, I didn't. But honestly, I'm fine."

 

"I beileve you when you say that just as much as you do when I say it."

 

"Alright... So maybe I haven't slept since you woke me up back at headquaters... Big deal..."

 

"It is. You bug me so it's my turn to bug you."

 

"My eating and sleeping habits aren't potentially leathal."

 

He had sat down on the couch while they were talking and now hide his face in the arm of it. "Isn't fair."

 

"Oh come off it, you're making me feel bad now..." Lana sighed, standing up and walking over to him.

 

"Yeah..." He yawned. "Sorry."

 

"I swear we've swapped roles, you nagging me to eat and sleep and appologising..."

 

He closed his eyes. "Seem so."

 

Lana smiled slightly as she realised just how close he was to falling asleep.

 

He turned to look at her. "You won't leave yet right?"

 

"Huh? No. I'm not going anywhere."
