"Could we keep tabs on all the calls going into the surrounding hotels?"

"Wouldn't be that hard."

 

"Then I'd recomend that, on the off chance that Kira contacts him that way. Though more likely it would be over mobile phone or something... I know the chance is slim, but you never know. Better to be safe then sorry." She explained, taking her usual stand leaning on the back of his chair.

 

"Will do." He said, in deep thought now as he played with his hair. "Not to mention we still got the time limit before we have to appear on TV. You and Mellody are working on that, correct?"

 

"Yes, she has her plan... I'm just hoping I don't get blown up with it."

 

"Get blown up?"

 

"You know her, her answer to everything is blow it up if you can't shoot in and shoot it if you can't blow it up. Or eat it if it's chocolate." She added with a small giggle.

 

"Yeah that's her."

 

"It's predicabley unpredictable." She smirked "Which certainly makes for an interesting experience, not to sure I'll be teeming up with her again though. Makes me worry what's gonna happen to me next, and with my record for bad luck... Well, it's not a settling thought."

 

"Right. And by the way, have anyone told you of Laya's current location?"

"I heard someone say something about England. Though that was around a day or so ago. I really hope it's not Kent like they said..."

 

"Well....it is. That's why I'm asking you now if you want to stay behind or not."

 

"No, I'm not staying behind. This is my job and I can't do my job when I'm not where I need to be. Besides, I can't let them win..."

 

"That's what I like to hear."

 

"Thank-you sir." Lana smiled. "I try."

 

"No problem. But first we have to finish up here." He said, starting to hack the hotel phone lines

 

"I'll leave you to it, phone hacking was never a speciallty of mine." Lana smiled, resting a hand on his shoulder as she turned to leave once again.
