Return of Kira: Part Two-Betrayal

Benedict put his phone away and began to drive back to the SPK HQ.

 

ooc: anything happen that I need to know?

OOC- There was a fake bomb setup and three unnamed members of the SPK's names and faces have been shown to the general public. The situation has been sorted now however.

 

OOC: yeah Yuu took control of a tv station and requested to meet kira he showed the spk members names and pictures as a sign of friendship

Kyra looked at her friend Kiki, and rejoiced as she said ''yup,'' right until she asked the question, ''but why?''.

Kyra anxiously whispered in her ear a few things (well, it was a few lies, ok!) and then sent Kiki on her way, disguised as a woman massaging men for no fee... After a few stops, Kyra went to check how Kiki was doing, and asked if she could stay on the hidden part under the wheelie table. Kiki then had a flashback of Kyra meeting her at the age of 5, and how Kyra was playing hide and seek one time, hiding underneath a wheelie chair like these.

"It may of been fake but we could of got him if we acted faster. We need more people..." He paused as he looked at the computer. "If he wants to meet Kira so badly maybe we could kill two birds with one stone." The clock struck midnight. "Two days left...We're being distracted."

 

"But with more people we'd have more people's lives at risk from the Kira threat. And right now, with situations as is that wouldn't be a good thing." Lana commented, not entirley sure why she'd decided to say that exact thing. Maybe she just wasnted to be noticed? Maybe she just felt as though she needed to say something?

 

"That's true..." He paused. It was now or never...who knows how long it might be til the next time they were alone. "I talked to Mellody about that time when you two went to her place..."

 

"Y-You did?" Lana asked, choking a little as she looked up. A little worried about what was coming next, had Mellody done what she'd suspected? What was going to happen if she had?

 

"Yeah..." He titled his head as he thought what to say next. "Is it true?" He asked. He wanted to hear it from her and not from a recording

 

"Is what true?" Lana asked, panic starting to set in. She had recorded her, oh Mellody you are in deep sh*t when I get hold of you!

 

Kiki walked through the hotel, knocking on the doors, offering a free massage to anyone who loves the offer... Soon, she went up to a particular door, and knocked.

''Kiki, I'm tired, I'm going to give up on this...'' Kyra began, attempting to get out of the wheelie table, before getting stopped by a shaking Kiki.

''No, Kyra. You are the bravest kid I have ever come across in my life... Don't change. I'll help you on this... No matter what. We're not done yet!'' Kiki said, hugging Kyra tightly, remembering the moment when Kyra smiled at her on her 7th birthday, also acting way too mature for her age.

Kiki turned around, tucking Kyra into the wheelie chair, and knocked on the door.
''Sir, or ma'm! This hotel has come up with a very special offer, to give free massages for a day only. Please open the door if you want to not waste an opportunity like this.''​

 

"Do you really love me or not?"

 

For a moment Lana looked dumbstruck, she'd spent so long planning to keep it a secret. So long planning to keep it hidden until it was over. Until like everything it disapeared back from whence it came she hadn't ever thought of how to say the truth. And there was no avoiding the answer this time, there was no where to run and no where to hide. It was just a simple 'yes' or 'no'. And of course the answer was yes, and she knew more then likely it always would be. No matter how hard she denyed it she knew deep inside that was the case. And if she lied, well... That wasn't even an option. She couldn't lie to him like that, she just couldn't. Not about this. The only thing in the world she couldn't lie about anymore. Expecially not to his face. Expecially not when he asked her so directly, he was obviously putting a great deal of thought into the wording so she couldn't escape it. He'd definatly heard it somewhere before. And he didn't seem certain if it was true, which indicated that maybe there was something there. Because if he didn't care for her he wouldn't care about her saying that. But either way, it didn't change the fact she had to tell him the truth and she couldn't lie to him anymore if her life depended on it. This was it, this was the one time she couldn't escape the truth.

"I love you..."

 

''You know what, Kiki, lets do this tommorow, I have to go back to work...'' Kyra whispered, crawling out of the wheelie chair.

''O.k. but we really have to make sure tomorrow that a terrorist is here... In this hotel...'' kiki whispered, as if it were another childish game.

''Fine... I've got to give my fellow collegues a few presents though...'' Kyra said, dropping the deadly silence that haunted the corridoor. ''Well... Bye for today...''

Kiki then stopped her, saying, ''Do you have a boyfriend yet?''

Kyra laughed, then moaned, ''Do we really have to chat about this right now?''

Kiki then raised her eyebrow, muttering, ''Good point.''

Kyra then yelled teasingly as she went down the corridoor, ''By the way, I'm still not interested in anyone yet!!! Don't get your hopes up xD''​

 

Yuu walked out of his room "What is it? he asked, I'm trying to work here"He said

 

Kiki looked at the guy that went outside, and smiled.

''Sorry to bother you! I just wanted to ask you if you would like to have a massage on the house? The hotel only puts up an offer like this once in a while'' Kiki said, still looking at the barmy Kyra that walked to the corner of the corridoor.

 

"Why not As long as its free"Yuu said "I'll just need to get something"he went inside his room and got back "cant forget the keys"He said holding his key card

''Sure thing sir! Come this way...'' Kiki said, smiling at him as she pointed the direction of the sauna room.

Kyra froze at the corner, and pressed her ear against the corner like a leech, and activated the micro camera that was now on Kiki's small dress.

She then texted L, saying, ''Have you got your computer on? I'll send you a few images of where I think our Kira activist may be...''
Once she sent it, she deleted all her previous messages, and turned her phone off, watching a happy Kiki lead this suspicious man into a sauna.​
