Return of Kira: Part Two-Betrayal

"Sounds like Mellody's up..." Lana moaned, the banging echoing through her head.

 

"Why does she knock so loud?" He asked while sitting straight. "Tell her she can come in. I don't feel like yelling through a door right now."

 

Lana nodded and stood up, making her way over too the door and opening it. "Yeah, what is it Mellody. Two kinda hungover people in here ya know."

 

Melldoy smiled at her, holding out what looked like a small wrapped burger. "I figured you could do with some breakfast, and sincei don't know what Near eats... well... yeah..."

 

"Thanks Mell," Lana smiled. "And I don't even know what it eats." She giggled. "I'm still sticking with the Transformer's idea though. Wanna ask him yourself or meh?"

 

"Oh, in that case" Meldoy continued with a cheeky grin, and toook out a small toy. "Maybe i did get it something to eat"

 

"I eat don't toys." He said after hearing them

 

"Yes you do." Lana giggled. "Go give it too him yourself, I'm gonna go take a shower. Been like three days since I last had the chance and now I smell like cheap cigarttes and expensive vodka. So, play nice kids." She said jokingly before leaving the room taking a bit out of the food in the wraper.

 

"Well..." Mellody sighed, walking up to Near and holding out the toy. "If you eat it or not, you might as well have it.."

 

He took the toy. "Thanks."

 

"So, how're things going?"

 

"Awful." He answered and started to play with the toy

 

"Why awful?"

 

"My head hurts."

 

"hangover huh?" Mellody smiled. "Maybe you shouldn't of been drinking?"

 

"I know... Can't even remember most of last night anyway."

 

"Well, don't tell people that, there are that many rumours goin around..."

 

"Mind sharing some of the rummors? I have an idea but hearing some for myself would clearify things."

 

"Not my place to say!" Mellody reassured smilng happily. "Now then, let's go get you somehting to eat so we can PROVE you don't eat your toys."

 

"That figures... But I'm not hungry."
