Return of Kira: Part Two-Betrayal

"Okay I changed my mind. Some pain killers would help." He said as his head started to feel worse

 

"Alright." Lana nodded, climbing up off of him. "Where you keep the asprin or paracetamol or something?"

 

He rolled over when she got off of him. "On the desk near the bed."

ooc Near said near again Dx

 

"Got them." Lana said grabbing them off the desk. "Question: When you say 'near' does it sound strange to you because you're used to it being your name?"

OOC- Lana asks the question thousands of fangirls wonder

"Um.. Never thought of it... Kind of."

 

"Just wondered, seemed possible." She shrugged as she sat down beside him. Offering over the tablets. "Want me to find you some water? Or coffee or something?"

 

"Sure that would be helpful." He said and sat up

 

"I'll get you a glass of water and then try and figure out the coffee maker thing." Lana nodded, pulling herself up and grabbing a glass from the top of the minifridge and wandering over to the sink. Coming back with it full of water and handing it too him before examining the coffee maker.

 

"Thank you." He took the pain killers with the water.

 

"It's fine." She said, looking over and smiling at him as she programmed the coffee maker.

 

He finished the water and put the glass on the table before looking over at her

 

"Alright, sorry if this coffee sucks. I'm not exactly renowed for my tea-girl skills." Lana joked handing over the cup.

 

He took the cup. "So how are you?"

 

"I'm fine, little headachey and I'd like to find my sunglasses because the light is stinging but otherwise I'm fine." she said, sitting down besides him.

 

"So your hang over is almost gone right?"

 

"Yep, I slept it off. I normally do, just last time I... well I had other things that stopped me sleeping. Like the prospect of losing my job because I was paralysed in my right arm."

 

"Well you've got a job now so it all worked out." He said and leaned on her

 

"Yeah..." Lana smiled, kissing his head. "Everything has worked out for the best so far."
