Return of Kira: Part Two-Betrayal

"Near will be fine. I know where the matches are." He said while opening the door

 

"That's not a good thing Near." She giggled before being caught of guard by a loud, rather embarrassed sounding voice.


"No Mellody! I ain't f*cked him yet so just shut the f*ck up and leave me a-freaking-lone!" Lana yelled, hiding her head under the cusions on Near's bed, totally unaware that the 'him' in question had just walked through the door.

OOC- I'm gonna go... I just fell asleep for a moment and banged my head on the desk ><

He looked around. "Is this a bad moment...?"

 

"Oh that's just f*cking brillient timing Lana Louise Lawliet..." Lana muttered angrily at herself, not loud enough for anyone to hear anything more then an grumbling of irratation at one's self.

"Oh I say that was perfect timing." Theory giggled.

He strached his chin. "Perfect timing for you maybe."

 

"Frick... Frick... Frick..." She muttered to herself, wishing she could just crawl under the pillow and stay there forever. She felt like such an idiot, so embarrassed. Near just had to come in on her at the exact moment she'd yelled what she felt was her last chance to get Mellody to drop the subject: The direct approach. Screaming loudly at her exactly what she wanted her to stop doing and why. If that didn't work when all else failed she'd figured the worst that would happen is Mellody would giggle and carry on leaving Lana with a sore throat. But no, life was never that kind to her was it? The one person she'd wanted to hear that least had walked through the door at that exact moment! How much worse could the situation get?

 

Mellody almost burst out laughing as soon as Near walked in at Lana's horrible, horrible luck, barely retaining what others would reffer to as her composure, and being as Mellody is, she just couldn't help the chance to make this all the more embarrasing for her best-friend, smiling evily at Near and simply stating, with a wink for emphasis "oh, you'll find out what she was talking about soon enough" and then proceeding to sit on the bed, all before she cracked up laughing at Lana's luck.

 

"Oh... My... God... I could kill you right now Mellody..." Lana muttered in a embarrassed anger. Taking a swing at Mellody first with the pillow she was cowering under, then upon realising it exposed her brilliently red face she covered her head up again and proceeded to thump Mellody in the back with her fist. "Gah..." She snarled, curling back up into her ball under the cushion.

 

"Well...I've got nothing to say." He said and walked over and sat on the couch. "At least Mel-Mel is finding this funny."

 

"I wish she wasn't finding it so funny..." Lana mumbled, wanting to hide from the rest of the world at that moment in time. Wishing that there was some way that she could unsay the words she'd yelled, or that she could just disappear until the painful embarrassment went away.

"Soo... You two must of been having an interesting conversation to spark that response." Theory said innocently, trying her hardest not to laugh.

 

"Rather instersting conversation...."

 

"It was all her talking! I was the one trying to get her to shut up!" Lana protested in a rather squeaky and muffled voice.

 

"If that's true then why you sound so high pitched."

ooc I know its bad but he's enjoying himself

 

"Because it's embarrassing as hell!" Lana squeaked.

 

"Well it could of been worse."

 

"Oh really, like how?" Theory asked, smiling darkly to herself as she lent against the back wall.

 

He thought for a moment. "I can't think of anything but it could of."

 

"Aww, I thought we were gonna get an insight into the pervy part of Near's mind there." Theory cackled.

 

"Well... I gots ideas but they're better left unsaid."

 

Oh today just keeps getting worse and worse.... Lana thought to herself.

"Now that was... disturbing..."
