Return of Kira: Part Two-Betrayal

"I'm fin--" She started, her voice suddenly cutting off as she finally collasped onto him.

 

"Yeah of course you're fine." He mumbled while playing with her hair while sitting back down

 

"I'm fine..." Lana mumbled in her sleep. "I'm fine..."

 

He sighed as he looked at her. "And there's nothing I can do..." He muttered be careful to ger her off of him and placing her gently back on the couch.

 

Quietly Lana curled up into a ball as soon as Near set her down on the sofa, biting her index finger as she slept.

 

He sat on the floor. "You look like a little child now..."

 

"Like you can talk..." Lana giggled in her sleep.

 

He smiled. "Really?"

 

Lana giggled sleepily for a moment before saying "I look like I kid when I'm sleeping... You look like one when you're playing... It's cute..."

 

"Thank you. I never really thought I was cute... You're just beatiful."

 

"You are cute... Cute like a rubber duck and cute like... the other way..." She giggled. "And I'm not... Like Mell said... I look like a run down wh*re no one would pay for..."

 

"Well you're not."

 

"But I look like it..."

 

"No you don't." He brushed her hair out of her face. "You look just...amzing, really."

 

"Psh... As if..." She replied, rubbing her face sleepily.

 

"It wasn't a lie."

 

"I'm not... Not anything special..."

 

"You are to me."

 

"I love you..." She mumbled. "If anything happened to you... I'd have nothing..."

 

He sighed. "I'm sorry..."
