Return of Kira: Part Two-Betrayal

"You get someone to watch the tapes over?"

"Do I have to? Sounds boring..."

 

Matt grinned. "Excellent. Tell her to keep her position there, and don't leave, no matter what. You're going to have to trust me on this. Quickly go check outside to see if there are any police officers out there" he said to her

 

"No.." He put his ear piece in and told someone else to do it


"Okie." She said looking out the window. "Don't see anyone..."

 

Benedict walked up to Near and siad, "Yo, whats going on?"

 

"Thank-you sir." She smiled, before something dawned on her"Urgh.. best get back to Mellody.."

 

Matt went over to the window to look for himself. "How far away are we from the house that they had originally surrounded?" he asked

 

"Okay." He looked to Bendict. "Some reporter got away with some of our files so we have to find him now."


"A few blocks."

 

"Should make him look through the videos." Lana smirked as she turned to leave. "Just an idea. Anyway, see ya sir."

 

"How far is the nearest dock?" he asked Terri

 

She shurgged. "I'm still kinda new here but it shouldn't be that far."

 

Kyra walked into the SPK building, sighing with a hint of stress as she turned off her sat nav. She then quietly sat in the waiting room, and began to draw a comic, whilst waiting for someone to call her up. She had nowhere else to go, and living alone without a job can get boring after a day or so, especially when you've got coursework to do by day and collect secret data by night.

She continued to sit there quietly... But all she heard was the tapping of the keyboard and the clicking of the mouse from the receptionist.

 

"So are we going to kill the reporter?" Benedict asked.

 

"Good. I'm going to get out of here now. Will you be coming?" he asked her

 

After a few moments, Kyra got her laptop out, and putting on the news website, she began jotting down the news, trying to see the links between all the murders, and with all the data, she opened her investigation files about Kira's murder spree, but before she could jot down anymore, the receptionist stood over her and yelled unintentionally, 'Madam, could you please refrain from using your laptop...'

Kyra jumped from her seat to the ground, and dropped her drink accidentally onto the receptionist.

'o..o... Ok then'' She said cautiously, looking at the furious receptionist. She turned around, putting her headphones on, turning her ipod on, smiled as she tuned it.

Her ipod is no ordinary music player. When she joined university a few months ago, she met a band of people who can alter just about any sort of mechanism to the person's content, but for a certain price.

She adjusted her goggles, and with a grin swiping through her face, she planned to anonymously tap into whoever's phone was to call first, just for passing the time.

 

OOC: could someone give me a recap, i've kinda been busy the last couple of days

 

OOC- Near and Lana trying to fix the issue of the data loss and finding out if they have his face on camera, which they do and Matt and Terri sorting out what to do with the police who've just appeared.

As Lana shut the door to the main computer control room, a faint smile lingered on her face. Simply happy that Near hadn't been upset with her for messing the system up to horrendously. However, that smile was soon wiped off her face as she turned around and smacked straight into somebody. Somebody, Lana noticed, who needed to wear a lot less perfume and a lot more fabric. "Oh... sorry..." She appoloigised quickly.

Blondie had been wandering around the third floor of the SPK buliding, having worked her way down from the highest acessible point. Looking through every room for any clue as to where Near was. Being able to find him on her first day was sure to put her in Matt's good books. But as she'd rounded the corner some scrawny little girl had walked into her. Wrinkling her nose at the girl, something about her was already annoying her. She looked like one of those girls that were obviously pretty if they just tried a little more. And that got up her nose, girls who just didn't try. And girls who needed constant support from everyone, physical attention was one thing, emotional was a whole other game. "Watch where you're going shorta**." She snarled viciously. Whoever this girl was, she was instant hatred.

Lana nervously looked up at the woman, something about her was familar. She made her feel like she was a tiny little six year old being taunted by one of the big kids again. It wasn't a nice feeling at all. It'd been bad enough the last time round. The daunting possililty of having to relive all that sh*t now was terrifying. And the last thing she wanted now that things, in a twisted way, had started to look up for the first time. "I said sorry..." She mumbled.

"You shouldn't of done it in the first place." Blondie growled, glaring into Lana's darkest green eyes. Her own pastel blue irisis burning with loathing into them. "Stupid b*tch." She added walking back the way she came, adding a toss of her ringlets to add to the dominatingly large image she'd been displaying for the first time since high school.

The bluntness and over all effect from the mean and undeserved comments had left Lana stunned, and ultimatley regressing to the state of mind she had been in up until three years ago. I know it's such a stupid idea... I know how hard I worked to get even this far... but... does it matter? Really? Because I don't think it does... I need something sharp... NO BAD IDEA.... But then again, it solves a lot of issues for me. And it helps in the short term... no, don't even think about it. She decided, walking off in the opposite direction to Blondie. "F*cking wh*re..." she grumbled as her trainers scuffed at the floor.

 

as Yuu cheeked out of the hotel he had been staying at, he was thinking of a new disguise. the one he'de been using for the last couple of days was beginning to fall of (he wears a type of plastic to change his face and appearance) he went to the bathroom. when he got back he looked like a 30 year old man wearing a black coat and glasses. he got into a cab and left for the new hotel he would be staying at

 

Eventually, Kyra got bored, and turning off her ipod, she began to walk around the SPK building. Although the receptionist told her the location of where she should be, Kyra could not help but feel lost.
