Return of Kira: Part Two-Betrayal

"You've become the new Luna, you do know that right? Always the last to know, the one left behind. The youngest of the team. The little girl that learnt that being strong was easy when you acted that way." Theory giggled. "I wouldn't worry about L. She knows what she's doing. She'll figure a way around it, she ain't dying just yet if she can help it. And certianly not if Near can help it I'm sure. And I'll be awaiting your texts."

 

''Ok... But if she's in danger and the plan fails, I'll come up with a back-up plan, just in case, ok?'' Kyra said, waving to the people as she gave the reciept to them, and then left the house.

''Hopefully I can send the texts soon... Just as long as this Kira doesn't get his ego too high and almighty so he could kill me first...'' She said, going to the next house.​

 

"If the plan fails Kira gets her name and her face. Though, as soon as she gets back online," She explained, aiming the last few words at the laptop perched on the sink. "I should get more details and I'll go instead. Less people would miss me anyway." She said, rather dispondantly. "And I agree, you should be alright. He'll be expecting it and therefore expecting us to expect it, hopefully."

 

''I know... but I think I should go... I'm the youngest after all, and I'll be the least missed... All I have for family is a general and a few friends... L has something to live for see? Whereas I have almost nothing left...'' Kyra said.​

 

"L has two people to live for. I really don't have any. I'm an orphan, only real friend I ever thought I made was Near... Turns out he doesn't exactly see me the same as I do him, to him we're colleuges and nothing else it seems. Hell, Luna didn't even know I knew him that far back until I mentioned Matt infront of her. And those two seems to tell each other everything they see as important. I really don't have anything. When it comes to being the Original L's sucessor Near got the intelligence and the job. I got the social life..."

 

''That makes two of us... well...Lets just change the subject before we become depressed! Ok, so... Anything positive happening back there?'' Kyra muttered, knocking on the next door, holding onto the suitcase beside her.​

 

"No as far as I'm aware kiddo. Most interesting non-emo thing I've heard is that Blondie may or may not be pregnant."

 

''Wow... Has she had a pregnancy test yet?'' Kyra murmured, waiting for the people to open the door.​

 

"Yep, she's taken the day off the day after tomorrow provided she lives that long of course, so she can go to the doctors. We're assuming it's either a offical test to make sure or a scan. She don't seem to happy about it, girl in the room next to her said she could hear her crying last night. Very quiet though mind."

 

Kyra sighed, and then said, ''Has anyone actually checked on her though? Something really bad might have happened to her, and she's suffering in silence...Blondie's not the overly quiet type, so I know for a fact something's happened... Do you know her number?''

No-one was opening the door, so she waited by the porch until the people that lived in that area comes back.​

 

"As far as I know no one. No one really wants to I don't think, everyone who doesn't hate her seems to just be rather shallow friendship. I'd go check on her myself but well... I'm looking after everything while Near and L are occupied."

 

Kyra sighed sadly, monotonously shaking her head, and then with a hint of sadness in the tone of her voice, she murmured, ''Well... No-one's gotten to know her, that's all... I understand the fact you have to cover for Near and L... Ok, I'll phone her up and check how she's going, ok?''​

 

"Yep, sure. I'll go back to me rubber ducks and playing around on YouTube then." Theory giggled. "Speak to you ASAP kiddo."

 

''Bye for now, Theroy...''​

 

"Bubbi." She nodded,snapping the phone shut.

 

She waited, and waited, and since she's getting more worried by the second about Blondie, she decided to pick up her phone, and dialled Blondie's phone number.​

 

OOC- Sorry for going so quickly, I stayed up all last night and I was exhusted.

Upon hearing her phone begin to Blondie hurried wiped her face and flicked her phone open. "Hello?" She asked in a voice that was borderline obnoxiously fake.

 

''Hi Blondie''​

 

"Oh, heya." Blondie smiled

 

''So how's things? It seems kinda lonely here...''​
