Return of Kira: Part Two-Betrayal

ooc: I'm confused. Does Yuu work with the SPK, on his own, or is he with kira? Oh so confusing to me O_o

Mellody sighed, waiting patiently for Lana. After a few more minutes of waiting she eventually looked over at the laptop and shrugged, reaching over and turning it on. After 5 or so more minutes she noticed something of small interest and clicked on it. Lana's diary huh? she thought to herself smiling evily.

 

OOC- I told him to find it... just so you know. Not powerplaying or w/e. So I'll be posting as Lana's diary for now <_< >_>

The first entry on the document was dated back to the eleventh of Setember 2008. The font was spidery and a girly pink, the handwriting obvioulsy Lana's. It seemed that at least back then, if not still, Lana chose to write on a tablet rather then type it in onto the document.
"Dear Diary, or however it is you're ment to start of these things... I don't really know. Or care to be frank. Only doing this so Mrs Handerson will get of my back about anger management or whatever.

Anyway, today was my birthday. Not that anyone really cared, sure the staff remembered but that's their job really isn't it? But, neather the less, after being reminded of my birthday the others soon remembered to give me birthday beats. As enthusasitic about giving me them as always, don't think I have a birthday that hasn't involved me getting my lip cut open or a black eye. This year they decided to go straight for a stair push though... Of course they blamed it on my abillity to fall over just about anything. So, as a special gift for my 15th birthday I got to go to hospital with a broken ankle. I wasted hours in that hospital... At least it was hours of a day I dread though.

Well, I'm gonna go now... Lights out and all... At least tomorrow it'll be back to normal, whatever that is...

"Wow..." Mellody commented scrolling down to see more. "She really was depressed..."

 

ooc soooo....I got confused half way through...xD What happened to Lana?

 

The next date Mellody landed on was only a couple of weeks ago, entered around three days before Lana collapsed from her spinal injuries. The hand wrting the same, if just a little scruffier. And the colour now a deep red, it seemed as if that shade of blood crimson was her favourite colour.
"Well... I've decided my head is offically f*cked up beyond help. I think, and this is just a maybe, that I might well could posibbley, Jesus I should just type it already, it's not like going on like that is going to change it... I think I might, be developing the smallest of crushes on my boss. Sounds so stupid, I mean. It's Near, NEAR. It's most likly just a OMG SO CUTE thing. But I'm not sure... The more I hang around him the more this weirdness grows. God, just look at what I'm writing. Bloody pathetic shyte. I'm so hopless. So, I'm going to ignore it. At least for now, if it gets to the point I'm having to fight the erdge to kiss him or something I'll leave the SPK. I can't have my stupid romantic notions screwing everything up. I've got to keep this under control until it goes away for good. I'm no help to anyone if I turn into some stupid emotional wreck. I have to keep cool, it's only a passing crush. Not as if anything major will happen, and as for it being mutual? As if.

Well, I have to go now diary. I've wasted an hour trying to type that measly paragraph... I couldn't find the words... And well... I think I've gone over my break time. See ya.

OOC- Basicly, the bits in bold italic are Lana's diary... Real Lana is still in the SPK buliding trying to sort out the mother of all messes.

 

"oh...my...god..." Mellody whispered to herself as she read the paragraph, amazed at how Lana had felt. "She... wow..."

 

After that last paragraph there wasn't anything written at all for around two weeks. Not even a date was added, it must of been when the planes and struck and when she'd finnally collapsed. And this time the hand writing was stratching and weak, as though no real effort could be made into writing it or as though she was writing with her right hand instead of her left. Though that wasn't possible as she'd been shot in the right shoulder.
"Having just read back my last post I can't belive how pathetic I've become. So much as a month ago I wouldn't of even dreamed of writing what I'm about to. Seeing as this has been preying on my mind since I awoke I need to tell someone, and of course there's no one else to tell. As it has everything to do with the one person I might of spoken to about it. I had a rather... emotional dream while I was asleep. Involving him... It seemed so damn real at the time. I wish it had been... I wish I had been able to say those few little words. But of course I couldn't... It'd ruin everything so quickly. But just thinking about it makes my stomach twist, I keep running it over in my head over and over and over. And if that's not stupid I don't know what is. But he said he needed me, he cared about me, he even hugged me. But of course, that was just a dream. Not like it's reality. As much as I want it to be.

F*ck me... I'm actually crying over this. God, I'm so bloody stupid. Urgh, I've had such a lot of time to think over my exact feelings recently. And I've decided the truth. As impossible and unattainable as that dream was all I can do is keep it as a memory. I can't act upon it at all. That's the only sensible thing to do.

"Well..." Mellody started biting her lip. "Now you have someone to tell... and maybe i can help you act upon you're feelings..."

Near got out of the cloud of sleeping gas in time but the others who were there are on the ground, out cold. He coughed a little and looked around but Lana and the reporter wasn't in sight. "Got to give the guy credit..."

 

Back at SPK HQ Lana had retrived her phone from the depths of her jacket pocket. Seeing as the mess she had just helped cause was going to keep her held up she needed to call Mellody and explain. Quickly tapping in her home number knowing caller ID would show up on her home phone.

The phone in her appartment began to ring: The name "L" flashing on the tiny screen. As the ringtone rang out

Mellody jumped lightly and pracitcally leaped at the phone, answering it midair as she crashed into the couch. "lana, that you?!"

 

"How many other people do you know called L?" Lana giggled before bursting into a coughing fit. "Might be a little delayed. Ran into some issues back here, knock out gas, hackers ect. I don't even know where Near is... It's mayhem."

 

He looked at the people who passed out when the smoke cleared and saw that Lana wasn't there. "And this can't be good with her bad luck..." He sighed and went to find her
