"You could of told me about that."

 

"Didn't seem that important." Lana said dismissivly

 

He sighed. "Thought you'd say that."

 

"It went away didn't it?"

 

"For now it is gone."

 

"The bullet's gone, the pain's gone, it's just waiting for the stitches to heal."

 

"The scar will stay though....Always does."

 

"It's just a scar..." Lana mumbled, suddenly feeling really consious of the fact she was going to have that mark on her for the rest of her life.

 

He pulled up his right sheve and showed her a scar on his arm then pulled it back down. "Doesn't matter."

 

"When did that happen?" Lana asked, a look of pained concern on her face as she gently placed her hand over the place the scar had been visable.

 

"A while ago. Before you joined the SPK."

 

"That time you got shot you mentioned?"

 

"Yeah that time."

 

"How'd that happen?"

 

"I'd rather not talk about it."

"And I would rather of not taken my shirt off." Lana grinned. "Please tell me?"

"Well I guess it's only fair... It was nothing big. Just a little agurment that got out of hand."

 

"How do you mean?"

 

"A trigger happy person got mad at me."

 

"Oh my god, who?" Lana asked, a confusing mix of emotions including anger against whoever had done it and an odd sensation of pain in the pit of her stomach when she thought of him being hurt, was rushing through her.
