Return of Kira: Part Two-Betrayal

"Okay..." He looked to the side.

 

Lana sighed, holding him tighter for a moment.

 

"And you're sure?"

 

"Yes, I'm sure. " She nodded. Truth was she just wanted to be close to him at that moment, the ideas of what could happen if she did annoy him to a ridiculous point scared her a little. And ironicly Near was the one that made her feel safe, even if it was his anger she was fearful of at that moment in time.

 

He put his head on her shoulder again as they hugged. "Okay then."

 

"We do this a lot..." Lana commented with a small giggle, in a desperate bid to lighten the mood.

 

"Yeah we do."

 

"Oh well... Least it's warm." She laughed.

 

He laughed slightly. "It is."

 

Lana grinned at him, seemily still a little dazed from hitting her head and the events of a few mintues ago.

"You're really are the only person I live for." He said touching her chin and leaned closer to her until there lips touched

 

Lana blushed again as their lips touched. The difference this time being that she had the awareness to tentetivly and cautiously kiss him back. Though she really did feel as if she had no idea what she was ment to do, which was rather accurate seeing as she really didn't know what to do.

They kissed for a while before he backed up. "Thought it was a nice time..."

 

It seemed that once again he'd left her speachless, because when Lana attempted to speak no words escaped her lips. All she could manage was a simple nod of her head to show her agreement. Her blush semi-hidden behind her fringe and behind the hand that she was biting the very end of the thumb of.

 

Mellody moaned exasperantly, rolling out of bed half awake, slamming face first, once again, into the floor, and looking over at Blondie and the others. oh just great... just f*cking great...

 

"It lives." Blondie giggled, snapping from her self-pitying sulk. "You been spark out for quite some time miss."

 

"How long...?" Mellody asked rubbing her face, and reaching around for some water or something.

 

"Few hours. You've been flickering in and out for a little while." She shrugged, before remembering that Mellody and Lana were rather close. Maybe, just maybe, she could find out a little more about the little... inncident? If anyone would know, it'd be her. "You hear Jenny speaking?"

 

"Yes i did..." Mellody sighed. "And no you're not getting anything out of me..."

 

"So it is true?" She asked automaticly. "Sounds like something you know a fair bit about and all. Seeing as there even if stuff to get out of you."
