Return of Kira: Part Two-Betrayal

"Of course, I promise." Lana agreed. "Not like I have anywhere to go or can even move." She giggled.

 

He smiled. "Yeah...That's true..."

 

"I'll be here. So just go to sleep."

 

He nodded and started to dift off into sleep

 

Though what's going to happen if I fall asleep... She thought to herself as she looked around. If she did one of two things would happen. One: She'd fall backwards and potenially hit her head on the wooden frame work. Which she knew if that was going to happen it most certainly would. Or two: She'd fall forwards and that would mean a greatly awkward situation for all involved... Damn... I gotta stay up...

I got nothing to say....Dx I must because of my tummy....Oh well. Near is asleep and Jen is...where ever she is


Near wasn't fully awake yet. "I'm cold." He complained

 

"I think I have a concussion..." Lana muttered, it'd seemed her suspicions were right and she'd fallen backwards into the woodwork.

OOC- Randomly bring Jen in for no apparent reason? XD

He sat up. "Are you alright?"

 

OOC- If Blondie finds for sure I can bet you Lana's gonna get kidnapped O_O
And awkwardness is fun! XD

"Fell backwards while you were asleep... I kinda nodded off... It f*cking killed..." She moaned, not bothering to move herself. The headache was one to rival a hangover.

 

ooc *Gasps* I dun think Lana will do well being kidnapped...however that would be intersting but...

He held out his hand for her to take it so he could help her up.

"Thanks." She smiled, grabbing hold of his hand.

He pulled her up and after she was up they were awfully close

Jen was looking through papers while she walked through the hallway when she dropped them. She sighed. "I always drop stuff..." She got on her knees to pic up the papers when she noticed something. "What's that...?" She thougt aloud as she pickd it up. "Hmm...Maybe Near would know." She headed to his room and when she went inside she saw the two on the bed. (now I know why Mellody would think something xD) "Oh. I-I'm sorry." She said as she backed up but she tripped and fell flat down on her butt. "Ow..."

 

Lana smiled momentarily at him as he pulled her up. Blushing faintly from their closeness. Then there was the sound of the door opening. Her head snapped around to see who it was, hoping to god it was just Mellody returning to take a few more cheapshots at them. But no, this time it was the newest of the newbies. Someone who really didn't need to know what was going on between her and Near. Then the look of shock that dawned on the woman's face made Lana realise just what their postitioning would look like to someone who knew neither them nor the situation incredibley well. At the dawning of that realisation her pastelic glow turned into a full scale "'Oh f*ck!" blush. Oh this is not good..."

 

Near sighed.


She got up and picked up the papers. "I'm so sorry."

 

"I-It's not like you were interupting anything..." Lana said high pitched and barely audiable voice, it was the only thing she could think of saying. Though after saying it she realised it most likely did nothing at all to better the situation. Hanging her head slightly in an effort to disguise the redness. Though, she thought, at least Near seemed to not be that panicked about the whole rather... awkward scenario.

 

Near stood up.

"Right....Well I'll just leave then. Again I'm sorry."

 

Lana covered her face with her hands as she tried to think of some excuse, any excuse. But of course none came, there wasn't really much to say to deny the evidence. They both just had to hope like hell that Jen wouldn't think it was a wise decision to tell anyone else.

 

She had left the room
