Return of Kira: Part Two-Betrayal

"I know.." Monique muttered rolling over. "How about i leave you two alone...?"

 

"She's gonna file this away and take the p*ss later... I can tell." Lana giggled.

 

"Yeah I know."

 

"Heewwwo!" Mellody yelled out, not realising she already had their attention.

 

"Is she tired or drunk?"

 

"Possibley both..." Lana commented. Now looking rather freaked out by Mellody's bizzare and out of character behaviour. She'd never seen her act like that before, and if she was honest, it was really rather odd.

 

Melody giggled a bit, before slipping out of consiocness again, waking again a few secodns later with a small shock.

 

"Well... I think she's sober now..." Lana facepalmed, leaning back on Near just the tiniest bit as she waited to see the rest of Mellody's reaction.

 

"Should we be worried?"

 

"I'm saying now is when the slightly rude jokes start..."

 

Mellod continued to fight ofr consciosnous for a bit longer, eventualyl slamming head first into the floor, and groaning weakly...

 

"Ouch...That had to hurt."

 

At the sound of the dull thud Lana winced and cringed "It does... Believe me it does..."

 

"Oww..." Mellody groaned, sitting back up, almost completly awake now. "Thanks for the help you stupid love-birds..."

 

He was already standing "We was't expecting that."

 

As Near stood up Lana lost her balence and ended up falling backwards into the pillows with a tiny yelp. "Can we help it if we like a show?" Lana grinned cheekily as she pushed herself up again. "Owie..."

 

"Yeah... right..." Mellody smiled. "Well, at least i know you're making good on Near's nicknames."

 

"Sorry about that...What nicknames?"

 

Lana blinked in disbeilef at Mellody. "Get your mind outta the gutter Mell. What she was saying earlier... Because I've been calling her Barbie."

 

Melody laughed to herself happily. "As if you can deny it."
