Return of Kira: Part Two-Betrayal

"I practicly live with you already you know." Lana laughed.

 

"I know but... "

 

Lana smiled sadly and pulled herself up onto the bed beside him. "I'm never going to leave you for more then a few hours, and even that'll be too long to me. You're never gonna get rid of me, even if I die. I'll come back just to haunt you."

 

He smiled. "I'll be haunted then?" He asked as he leaned on her

 

"If I die before you, then yes." Lana smiled. Placing a hand on his futhest shoulder. "I'm not going to go anywhere if I can help it."

 

"I'll huant you if I go first."

 

"Deal." She giggled.

 

He smiled and took her hand and held it again

 

Mellody opened her eyes lightly, resisting the urge to jump upright, and simpyl looking aroudn slowly.

 

Lana sighed happily as she rested her head against his.

 

He closed his eyes then let go of her hand and sat up straight. After a moment he opened his eyes again and blinked a couple of times

 

Mellody smiled at the both of them, rolling off of the couch.

 

"You alright?" Lana asked, oblvious to the fact that Mellody had begun to stir from her sleep.

 

"Yeah...I'm fine."

 

Mellody just smiled at the two upside down, not wanting to get up.

 

"What's with that smile Mellody?"

 

"She's up?" Lana asked in surprise. Turning her head around rather suddenly.

 

"Hiii...." Mellody greeted sleepinly. "I was just smiling at how sweet you's are..."

 

"Oh god... She's out of it." Lana laughed quietly.

 

"She used the word yous so she must be."
