"Well then, see you lot around. I guess." Blondie said dismissivly as she walked purposefully out of the room.

 

He looked through the corner of his eye until she elft the room. "I don't trust her..."

 

"I don't like her, trust her or want her alive..." Lana laughed weakly. "Not that I'd do anything about it... Unless she really pushed me... Joking."

 

"Good because I dislike killing. It isn't my style nor was it the orginal L's."

 

"I know... Sorry." Lana said hanging her head. "She just bugs me, and I was joking."

 

"I know and I don't mind."

 

"Still sorry." Lana repeated, brushing her hair from her face but still not looking up.

 

He sighed "Always sorry."

 

"Sorry... sorry.. so-- You know I'll shut-up now I think..."

 

"You shouldn't always be sorry."

 

"I think you should always appologise when you're in the wrong..."

 

"But right now you are not."

 

"First I mentioned killing a fellow SPK, which even in jest isn't right. Then I p*ssed you off..."

 

"I'm not bothered by it."

 

"Still... I'm sorry if I did p*ss you off..."

 

He shook his head. "You didn't."

 

"You're sure...?"

 

He nodded. "Yeah."

 

Lana smiled weakly at him, once again brushing that ever so frustrating bit of her fringe from her eyes.

 

He played with his hair for a while before standing up. "Well, I am done here."
